It's like old home week. I caught 5 minutes of it and Christine, Paul, Neal, Victor, Nikki and a new Adam I don't recognize are all there. Hey! Sharon and Nick! They were my favorite couple. I used to watch it back in 1994. Geez, we all look older now. :scarytv: |

Earlier this week I tried to recreate a pasta salad I made last week. Chopped and diced almost the same ingredients, except for the canned tuna. I opened up the pink salmon can instead. Oh boy, wrong move. It had tiny fish bones I picked out and some random skin pieces. Mixed it up. Hmmmm, fishy tasting. Maybe once it sits in the refrigerator it will work out. Omg...worst stuff ever! It smelled like cat food. So out it went into the trash today. Out on my porch is the prettiest grey wild neighborhood cat, which I feed every now and then. So I get some dry food. Hmmmm....I'm wondering if he would like my pasta salad. So what I was just doing..lol...picking thru the salad I just tossed, pulling out the veggies. And he ate it! The noodles! |

I am watching the repairman work on my Internet. He should have been here at 9:00am but he got here at 1:00pm. All will be forgiven if he fixes my Internet.

Watching my nephew, Waylon, play with his new baseball three strike toy I bought him. His birthday isn't until the 17th but I gave it to him early. He can use it as a tee, or it pops the ball staight up or pitches to him. This is a selfish gift because this way I don't have to pitch to him a 1, 000 times. He seems to like it.

Getting ready to go downtown with my youngest and her boyfriend. There better be a beer in my hand in an hour or less! Or ice cream...either will do...

I just read a news article that they finally (officially) made Mother Theresa a saint. I think it is a shame they did not do it while she was alive. (just my opinion)

Taking a break from mowing and battling dopey dog, who insists on trotting her tennis balls that I toss to the mowed area, right back over to where I'm mowing. I stuck one in my pocket thinking I'd outsmart her and she walked along beside me trying to stick her nose in my pocket to retrieve it. She usually hangs out where I've already mowed, but that's not happening today, for whatever reason. It'll be game on with tennis balls and the sprinkler when I get done mowing and edging.
