Finding a long lost lolly, making someone smile, bitching with a coworker, and feeding the beast.

Doing some shopping, getting a couple little surprises to send to someone and buying things for My dad for Father's Day *AND* his birthday (on monday) :D

knowing that I am better off on my own, someday I will find someone who wont lie, cheat, or make excuses about everything in their lifes for the rest of their life.

Coming home after a really crappy day to find the man-children (who had found out I'd had a crappy day) cooking a really fancy dinner just to make me feel better.

Driving downtown last night to take two responsible young adults to the bars. They taxiied home. So proud of their choices.

Spending the afternoon with a good friend...hy and hys family are such good people...they made me feel so special, like they missed me...so nice to be appreciated like that...(I missed them, too).
I forgot about everything and was just me, for a few hours...it's the most relaxing (stress-free) time I've had in a long time... That was extremely joyful for me today...I am truly blessed! |

:happyjump::danglecarrot: Going to the Farmers Market and finding fruits and Veggies at a very reasonable price. :cluck: :greendollar: The free range chicken was a bit to pricey but we got it anyway. They even had a local :grandpiano: playing Jazz so I enjoyed my day at the market!

I'm done with work, don't have to get up at the asscrack of dawn tomorrow, and someone had super good news to tell me today. :)

Finding out so much about my family while doing research on Ancestry.com.
Watching my best friend's little boy act like the Green Hulk, had me busting a gut and having his picture come out blurry bc I was laughing so hard. Going on the 31st of June to the Orlando Ikea to get a new bed and possibly going to meet up with my old roommate and have lunch with him. |
After a long day of chores and sore feet...
Watering my little garden while watching a really beautiful sunset... with ABSOLUTELY no buildings or other city obstacles to get in the way of my view of a broad horizon of pink and orange sunset with one very bright star (maybe a planet) and the crescent moon (both visible before the sun went down). The only thing on the horizon was trees, farm land, the skies at sunset and lots of fireflies over the fields and wild flowers (weeds) near my garden. I am finally OUT of the city, it's noise and obstacles... I breathed a sigh of relief tonight while watching the sunset. Now I can't wait for my yellow tomatoes to grow!! |

What brought me joy today....
Spending yesterday with my family. We celebrated Father's Day, my brother's birthday & my cousin (that's more like a brother) being in town. We went to my dad's favorite restaurant, overlooking the bayou, and had the BEST fried fish (& coldest beer) EVER! We haven't spent time together as a family in YEARS! It brought back all the good memories & pushed away the bad ones.... and in that instant I felt at peace. One more student loan PAID IN FULL! |

Finding my new Home has Wild Blackberry bushes and being so delighted to pick as much as I could find this morning for a special treat!! Yup! I braved the spiders!! Those darn creepy crawlies CAN'T have my Blackberries!! (I think all the spiders from Pennsylvania decided to relocate to the Carolinas for the warmer winters and abundance of skeeters and other creepy crawlies!!)
Blackberries bought at the store... $3.99 per pint Wild Blackberries right from your own back yard...priceless!! Spiders...buy one get 20 free!! :loveBFP: more and more every day!! There's always something new and fun to find, explore, build and plant!! |

The rescued pelicans from the Gulf were released in Texas. I watched it on TV. I am so happy to see these birds flying free and oil free. Amen! :goodscore: |

I introduced my children to 80's music today. It was so amazing to watch them jumping around, dancing, and spinning to the music I remember from my own childhood.
