While traveling, I waited at the bar while the kitchen made my food order. I decided to have a margarita while I waited and the bartender made a drink that was pre-mixed. She said taste it and let me know if it is okay so I did. I said it needs booze so she added two shots for free and I smiled.

I did a little decorating for the holidays today, and the kitten seemed extremely excited about all light-up stuff. Pepaw kitty joined in her excitement for about 2 minutes before he decided he would just sit back and watch us decorate. :)

Christmas Eve we always go to my moms. My sister was drinking quite a bit. Kept trying to feed shots to everyone. And also danced showing us certain dances that I do not remember the names of. Now if you knew my sister you’d understand. She is sweet and quiet and seemingly innocent. Very nice to everyone. She was nice tonight too. Just funny as hell! Where did my baby sister go? I felt like I got to know a different side of some of my family because even my mom let loose a bit which was nice.
I usually sort of dread the get together’s but I honestly had a great time!

Spending time with my family, including my amazing partner who was very tolerant of our idiosyncrasies.

I do not think anything has happened from this past Sunday on that has not been smile worthy. That in itself is no small feat. I have a lot to be smiling about.

My mother's sense of humor: She sent me a Santa hat, a delicate apron from the 1930's, and a picture of Taurus (she always thinks I'm Taurean, rather than a Gemini, LOL). Hee Hee, I love my (((( Mom ))))). :cheesy:

Getting a ton accomplished in my room today. Nothing beats an absolutely clean room.

Betsy, the 3 year old cow... She managed to escape the rodeo, last summer, and is wandering an Alaskan park of about 4K+ acres. I hope she remains free and safe and is never found, *lol*. I remember the herd of cows we had on our family farm (we had Holsteins and Black Angus cows), and how our cows Bossie and Flossie (twin sister cows of the Holstein herd) were always finding ways to escape. Betsy reminds me of Bossie and Flossie. :)

My girlfriends kitty came out to have breakfast with me.

A very bad puppy knew she'd been caught in the kitchen.

An email from yesterday inviting me out to dinner on Valentine Day..

Getting my brand new shiney stop watch in the mail. Not the vintage one I wanted, but a very classic metal digital one. I think I will like it much much more.

Holding a sweet 7 week old baby. It was at the end of a very trying day at work. The director of the daycare downstairs from me walked by with this beautiful baby. I followed her, as I often do when she has a baby in her arms, and begged. She happily passed him over and we snuggled and smiled at each other and made silly faces.

My love of my life my old furbaby wanting to play today. He's such a sweet old soul.
