I might have a turkey and cranberry relish sandwich on a dinner roll...

I didn't want to get stuck with a lot of food that would likely go bad, so I cooked a small turkey, and a small pan each of cornbread dressing with giblet gravy, & broccoli and rice with cheese. I also had plain green beans and cranberry sauce. Even still, there are enough leftovers for 2 or 3 days. The carb overload nearly put me in a coma, but it sure was good. :)

the weather has been crap here..rain, then ice and more ice. Sooo, it's soup day. I have in the crock pot diced potatoes, spinach, broccoli, carrots, celery, onions, northern white beans,peppers, diced tomatoes, vegetable broth and some italian seasonings, onion and garlic powder, salt and pepper, a dash of this and that. I have rolls on the oven rising and a lentil loaf in the oven for sandwiches if so desired.

Being it's damp and rainy then getting cooler. I'm making a pot of potato soup loaded with ham, onions and celery all I need to do is add the seasoning when it's done.

Most likely it will be some of the crockpot potluck that I cooked up a few days ago. I cleaned out the fridge and threw things like butternut squash and yellow and green squash and sliced mini peppers and some chicken and veggie sausage in there too. Other things made it in there too...baby carrots, mushrooms, sprouts, cooking greens, et cetera. Once I cooked that down with some low sodium chicken broth, and seasoned the heck out of it, it was pretty darn good. Hearty as all get out too. I take some rice and then lay some of this over it and it's on like Donkey Kong! I've tried different types of rice and so far I like basmati the best with this.

I nabbed some trail mix and some dark Hershey kisses from my last client...then got home and cracked open a couple tangerines. It's seriously all I could manage...its been a day

It was late by the time I got home so I got take out from my local joint...
I got fish tacos (Mani Mani) which were served over greens with sides of black beans and rice along with avocado slices.. It was delicious but not entirely filling....but I was quite famished. Pumpkin ice cream for dessert...beer is next... |

I had a gyro around 2pm today, so I didn't bother with cooking dinner tonight because I was still full.

Last night we had salmon cakes over corn relish with tarragon mustard sauce and apple crisp for dessert.
Tonight we are having a pork fried rice type dish and pumpkin seed orange zest 'blondies' for dessert. |

I fixed bbq'd chicken wings with tater salad.

I'm currently making oxtail and pork neck ragu, it will simmer alllllll day and then I'll serve it over some rigatoni.

I am having a grilled chicken wrap, (tomato, olives, feta cheese, artichoke hearts, cucumber, romaine lettuce and balsamic dressing) with a cup of tomato florentine soup.

Currently roasting lamb and carrots, Brussell sprouts, beets, parsnips and baby red potatoes -- I brushed them in rosemary olive oil, the sprinkled them with sea salt. Once the finish roasting, I'm going to drizzle a smidge of malted vinegar across the roasted vegetables. I also have some homemade Greek taziki (?) sauce for the roasted lamb.

I had a chicken salad sandwich on a beautiful, fluffy croissant with lovely spring mix and Cape Cod chips which I typically hate....but I was craving the salt...
I finished my daughter's cookies and cream ice cream for dessert... I've given up eating normal meals at normal times...that was actually around 2 or 3 sooo...it was actually linner...lol Now I'm having a Sierra Nevada coffee stout...its amazing...like dessert in a beer....mmmm |
I had chicken nuggets, kale salad and Greek pasta salad.
