Hearing hys voice...texting with hym...

This morning, over my first cup of coffee, I watched a squirrel …carrying his treat in his mouth, digging into the ground and stuffing the treat into the hole, covering it up and fluffing the greenery ever so carefully to camouflage his hiding place, and then scampering off. I’m not sure why it made me grin…but it did.

Showing my little brother a frog on the pool cover. Little froggy had gotten where the rain water had pooled up into a nice little personal pool for it. There were leaves (make shift water lillies) to hide away from the sun and the water was like a little private warmed up spa. I was making my way to vacuum...if i did that...i would have to move the frog...Not. Tomorrow i will check on it again. Make sure it has water...maybe it is gonna make tadpoles. Oh, and the part that made me really smile...my little brother smiling (cause of the frog and talkin about the frog) like he did when we were kids. Priceless

Going Apple picking with Desd and the Goose we do this every year and started when Desd and I first got together :wine: it is become our family tradition and trust me we end up with a lot of apples plus we get home made apple fritters and go for a tractor ride. :sunglass: cause that is just how we roll the last year I was in a "boot" after surgery and now this year I was in the "boot again having sprained my ankle I hope that is not the new tradition :|:| lol

I painted my nails, cut my bangs, ate popcorn for dinner, and sang loudly to cheesy music. It was all glorious and worth smiling about.
