Haha, both you and Orema have guess correctly that it is Buster Keaton. Here's a hint: He's a bit of a red herring in that he only made a cameo appearance in "This Movie". His age and what he was famous for is a major clue as to the theme of this movie. :goodluck:

I think Homeo is right with Sunset Boulevard, but only because hy's seldom wrong about these things.

I don't remember Keaton making a cameo appearance in Sunset, but I haven't seen that film in ages. All the more reason to watch it again. :)

I need very little excuse to watch this film noir classic. Blink and you may miss Buster and other silent movie stars who also make a brief appearance. :)
