Soaked oats in yogart with fruit
Hi guys,
Recently the neighbour downstairs kindly told me and gave me some of the above. It's very simple and can be made in advance. 2 tablespoons of oats, 2 tablespoons natural yogurt, and whatever berries or fruit you like. And if you think it's too thick then you can add a dash of milk. Mix it all up and add a teaspoon of honey, cover it with cling film, and put in the fridge overnight. This is also good has A. You know what's in it, not like those prepackaged cereals with oats and fruit that can have loads of sugar. And B. It's good for lowering cholesterol. And C. It helps you later in the day, say mid morning to stop snacking on bad stuff because it's filling and releases energy into you body slowly. Give it a try, it's actually very nive with you favourite fruit. |
Fake Cocoa Puffs with ½ and ½
|
I had a banana with reduced fat peanut butter.
|
A Starbucks double shot expresso and a brownie. (I am not sure if there is any part of that - that is healthy, oh well- I tried? Nah, I didn't)
|
I made an organic Strawberry compote last night, so in a bit, when I get ready to make breakfast, which will actually be brunch - by the time I get to it, I will make waffles and spoon some of the warm strawberry compote on top of the waffles. Italian Decaf coffee, with a couple packets of Truvia and a splash of non-dairy, plant-based creamer. I might scramble some eggs too, to have on the side. :rrose:

Breakfast...
Green juice and then about an hour or so later a wild blueberry muffin with lemon tea.
|
Eggs, bacon, grilled tomato

I had 2 pieces of pizza, cold with a glass of ice tea.
Hang over food. |
Brunch was an Elvis special, toasted, with fresh blueberries and oj.
|
Decaf with cream.

For me... it will be extremely strong coffee
:readfineprint:(not a big huge coffee drinker, but when needed) at least I have a new mug to use! |

Will probably have to create it myself, order it, and pay an arm and leg for it, but I really want one. On topic: Am having decaf and cream. |
I had maple syrup sweetened oatmeal with plump Thompson raisins and milk. Some things don't change. ;)

2 for 1 (lunch & Breakfast)
I had a quick bowl of oatmeal for breakfast, before I left for work today; but at work, our small office crew treated me to an awesome lunch: There's a nearby food-cart that specializes in tacos of every type you can think of. I opted for the Vegetarian taco plate -- which the taco's were made with freshly grilled mushrooms, vegan 'cheese', crunchy onions, thinly sliced avocado and an assortment of other veggies, all dressed in a tamari/plum sauce, which was spicy. So delish! I saved back one of them for my breakfast tomorrow morning.
|
I guess it's technically brunch but I'm about to have taco salad.
|
Half an avocado...just enough to coat your stomach for all the booze you're going to have later in the day.
|
I had an oj/pom juice cocktail, sliced banana and fresh blueberries, a Cordon Bleu croissant and water to chase.
|
I'm going to be having Bob's Red Mill Muesli (which is non-gmo, organic, and made locally) and a dollop of non-dairy yogurt and a bunch of fresh, huge organic strawberries, sliced up on top.
I packed up my whole kitchen, the other day, so I probably will have this breakfast every day, for a few more days. |
A handful of antidepressants.
|
Technically brunch, but I had a grilled cheese sandwich on multigrain bread with Pepper jack and Swiss with dill pickle chips plus my oj/pom juice cocktail, some water and a Blow Pop just 'cuz.
|
Steel-cut oatmeal with coconut milk, coconut flakes, apples, walnuts, chia seeds, cinnamon.
:poc-cool: |
Decaf and a donut.
Would rather have caffeinated French/Kenya roast with cream and no sugar, thank you, but decaf it is. |
Bacon and eggs on an English muffin
Coffee 2 bottles of water We played in a poker tournament last night (I cashed) and then played cash poker until 2 am. I didn’t drink enough water last night and I’m a bit dehydrated. :jester: |
Ive been binging on Natures Path organic cereal. I slice up strawberries to put on top. Then add Covonut cream non-dairy milk. Its very yummy. Satisfying too.
|
I suspect tomorrow's breakfast will be the Danishes I bought today.
|
Scrambled eggs with chopped asparagus, a few strips of crispy bacon, decaf.
