I was born under a full moon.

The last time my birthday fell on a full moon was 2006.

The next time my birthday falls on a full moon will be 2044.

I hope I get to see that one last time.

Thank you, Gemme and Homie. I think I’ll be okay with the snow. I purchased a car 2 years ago and I have only put 5000 miles on it. I don’t drive much. Especially now that I’m no longer working.

What’s a little more concerning is a bear was seen roaming around in 2018 in the county I’m moving to and the bear population in the Lower Peninsula has increased 47% since 2000 to 2,112 bears.

A shopping mall is nearby and I’m hoping that will deter bears from showing up in my area.

Anyway, the area is lovely in the spring, summer, and fall. Just a couple miles from Lake Michigan. Very touristy and I like that. Sorta like San Diego without the bears, snow, humidity, convertibles, and delicious Mexican food, but lots of cheery tourists.

Uhm . . . because the bears will be too busy shopping at Bath & Body Works?

Or because the bears will be afraid of the people buying guns at Dicks Sporting Goods?

Because of the activity of the shoppers!

Gosh, until recently we were being unusually visited by folks from Russia.
Seems now it is the Ukrainian turn.
