keeping watch
a family member is ill so i am keeping a watch over him, helping him w/blood sugar checks, getting to the bathroom, etc,,,basically staying up all night

wonders why I refuse to get up easily when I have work, but I'm all chipper and awake at 5:30 now that I'm taking a snow day.

is freaking out over the local weather alert that just interrupted my show...says to be prepared for up to 12" of snow today...NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! Please bring back spring time and warm weather. I miss it. *sniff*

is incredibly grateful that we're back to plain ol' rain this morning. The freezing rain that turned our city into a skating rink last night was absurd.

JUst finished the walk way from shoveling wow what a workout I am really out of shape too and out of breath as well...need to rest and catch my breath..ugh on the snow..

need suggestions!
i've got packing to do, an ill family member to take care of, the usual household work to do...now, as i'm really NOT WonderWoman, i'm wondering how in Hades to get all of this done when i've had no sleep since, hmmm..., night before last! sigh, i wish there was a "butch for hire" service in my area to pack up my books and other heavy items for me! i don't normally mind all this but i've GOT to get all of my belongings stashed safely by the 21st! well, with the aid of the Gods, all will get done as should be!

Clean break
I am finding I can live with less, eat healthier, and move more.
A day off work= More housecleaning and freeing myself of needless things in my spare room, in my life, and things that no longer mean anything to me. Recycle bin holds mismatched plastic lids, bowls. Assorted clothes are in luggage that is on it's way out.... I thought I would someday find a use for other "things" are in boxes to take to the needy place. Things the cats no longer play with are going to the Animal Shelter today. A feeling of freedom comes with each thing that moves on to a new place for a new life. |
sleep is still hit and miss - - so today I'm off to the doctor.
