Contagion. Actually a little better than I expected, but nothing award winning, per se.

skeeter_01 10-28-2012 02:57 PM

last sunday my brother took my mom and i to see "the trouble with the curve" with clint eastwood...

i really wanted to be all resentful towards clint because of the whole *republican convention* thing...but...i just couldn't stay mad...LoL!!

i really liked the movie! i'd probably pass if with in the next year or two..someone asked me if i wanted to watch the dvd...but it was a good movie and ole clint is still a damn good actor!! :)

Americano with Salma Hayek...it won't be for everyone but I certainly liked it

BoDy*ShOt 11-02-2012 10:13 PM

watched Birth tonight.. Nicole Kidman takes on some whack roles. j/s

Flight with Denzel Washington. It didn't disappoint. I don't often get emotionally tugged on or have physiological reactions to movies, but I certainly did with this one!

Because it has always been the most wicked, fragmented minds that have
oddly fascinated me as well as the Art of Macabre n Horror...I watched
'A Serbian Film'. It's subtitled and created by a sick twisted mind
and I strongly caution folks before pushing play.

The Human Mind is exquisite, yet very flawed.

Shutter Island...it was better then I thought it would be

Flight
It was well done, but distressing.
Hated the ending.

On a side note, what was with Denzel sweeping his tongue across his teeth constantly. Is that a Denzel thing or a character thing. It was very distracting.

We really liked that one, too. And Scorp always crushes on Charlize. LOL

We saw Argo a few weeks ago and thought it was really good.

No laughing now: Magic Mike. Directed by Steven A. Soderbergh.

I though Soderbergh would have given the film more depth but no, he did not.

Unless you want to see bunch of half-naked, bio-male strippers, I would skip this one.

I will say that Matthew McConaughey is starting to look a little too old in the face for a movie with no gravitas.

However, his body remains sublime.

In theatres? The latest Resident Evil movie.
At home? The Coca-cola case, Freddy vs Jason & Fried Green Tomatoes (I know quite the variety).

Man With the Iron Fists....

Loved the camp influence of Quentin Tarantino and the action skills of Lucy Liu.:)

Watched 'Fatal Attraction' last night, hadn't seen it in at least 10 years. Glenn Close still freaks me out in that movie!

The World Unseen - Two women in the 1950s in South Africa. Sad and beautiful.

Saw Breaking Dawn Pt II this afternoon, I really liked it!

Saw Skyfall and it was amazing. As a Bond fanatic, I was impressed by it. Loved it so much, I went and saw it again.
