I did not turn on the heat in the house last night.

I got up at 5:00, turned the electric heaters on in the kitchen and dining room for Jennifer and Kevin so they would not feel the shock of getting from under their warm comforters and out of bed. They made haste on first potty break. I looked at the outdoor thermostat on our way inside and it had not reached 30 degrees.

Once back inside, promptly turned on the central heat inside the house.

The countdown is on. Christmas is around the corner and I haven't a clue what to buy anyone. I am seriously thinking about making donations in my family's names this year.

It's cold and rainy today. Think I am going to throw a roast in the slow cooker and do as little as possible.

Have been out and about this morning running errands. Dinner is in the crock pot and I am off to a lesbian bowling meet with a bunch of self proclaimed non-bowlers and clumsy people. Self included. This should be fun. Home tonight to finish doing things around the house in preparation of a busy week ahead.
