I know...Imagining how different every project is that one of us does, it is going to be out of this world (Planet~~pun) . I think it will be stellar..Yeah to the Pixie for doing the collating and assembly.

purepisces 06-14-2011 09:18 AM

I'll have my Risk project out in the mail tomorrow. I'm not sure how I feel about it. It is something I am NOT comfortable doing or showing, really. But, I still feel good about it somehow.

purepisces 06-14-2011 09:23 AM

I started working this weekend on the reunion project. I finished a piece that I really love, but realized as soon as I glued the last bit in place that I didn't leave room for the binding! So, I guess I'll be starting over. :(

Just wondered if anyone has suggestions for how much space should be left clear for binding?

Half an inch at least, I would think. Pixie told me once but we were eating and it was really good and all I heard in my head was "Yumyumyumyum".

I am pretty sure she said half an inch.

As far as the project goes, I :stillheart: Jennifer so much because she always picks the most thoughtful, profound projects and this one has stumped me repeatedly.

I'm not ashamed to say that I've failed miserably at one thing....the MAIN thing I wanted to do....but given my procrastination and general frustration with it, I'm letting it go and you all will see my goof and my attempt to fix it as best I could. In the end, it's turning out to not be so bad. It's different, that's for sure, and that's the goal, right? So, we're good. :)

Don't trash it just yet. Maybe she can still work with it somehow. She's uber creative.

wolfbittenpoet 06-14-2011 12:08 PM

Risk should go out tomorrow. Otherwise definitely Thursday. It's been an adventure.

Hunnie bunnie, send it with them....I can make it work! I gave yall a smaller size maximum for that reason.....so don't you worry!

Corkey 06-14-2011 10:13 PM

Next up the reunion project.

femmedyke 06-15-2011 08:08 AM

Happy Wednesday!

wolfbittenpoet 06-15-2011 11:16 AM

Risk is going out tomorrow. I finished the last bits today. It was risky only because of the speed and materials used.

Diva 06-15-2011 11:55 AM

I've done the "P", the "L" and the "E".......it's my prerogative to do them out of order.... :eyebat:

purepisces 06-16-2011 03:26 PM

Risk project mailed yesterday, unfortunately, without $, so I'm sending that today!

wolfbittenpoet 06-16-2011 03:28 PM

So.....next is the P.L.A.N.E.T. deal now?

I hope so............cuz my PLANET project is complete! :cheer:

nycfem 06-20-2011 07:38 PM

I have not even started PLANET. When is it due?

Are we waiting to start a new project until PLANET is due?

And when does Pixie leave the "Bull" address?

I'm a hot mess.

Corkey 06-20-2011 07:40 PM

Pixi needs by end of July the Planet reunion projects
I know I am not able to do another project until mine is done, and I'm still working on it. The rest I have no clue.

nycfem 06-20-2011 07:43 PM

Thnaks for the reminders, Corkey! I also vote for waiting until the beginning of August to start a new project...

Pixie 06-23-2011 06:22 AM

Hello everyone! I am sorry about my silence and distance.
This past thirty days have not been kind and have thrown me and my family for a loop. I will have the risk out tomorrow, and the Reunion pages are due to me by july 31 and the second day I will have to let yall know when I get settled after my move.

Thank you for being so patient with me.
Hope all is well.
Pixie

Nifty news (and a little bit of sad news*)! The Risk projects are going out in the mail tomorrow (Pixie, yours was received this afternoon). And even better news: they are mad, crazy cool, absolutely phenomenal, all of them!

*Tommi and I have been in contact, as his never arrived even though he mailed it. Of course, he will get his package, but right now his package is missing. Hopefully he will post a pic of his project that he luckily took, though I know it's not the same.

Here is a picture of my RISK Project. They are each handpainted wooden initials, with magnetic strips and decorated with letters, pictures, etc., or something relating to each of you. I did get to RISK, with a glue gun, glitter, and little bitty things.

Hopefully , mine will turn up. The USPS shows delivery on 6/17, but is still investigating.

wolfbittenpoet 07-01-2011 05:01 PM

Ooooo pretty. I hope they find them. In a purely nonselfish way of course.

nycfem 07-01-2011 06:50 PM

Good news for all of us!!!

Tommi, they found your package (It had not been delivered, silly USPS) and are holding it for me for tomorrow morning pick-up. I will mail out individually same day.

Whew... what a relief!!!

I keep saying it! I want a "10 thumbs up" button! I know, two thumbs are all we have..but a lil excess isn't a bad thing! :) *Pressing my own imaginary 10 thumbs up button for NYC's post!* *G*
