It is 4:40 a.m.

I just came in from walking the property all around my house and all the way to where the woods start in my backyard with my Atomic Beam flashlight and headlight. Will wake the pooches and take them out for a pottie break. They will go back to bed and I will do some housework before I get them up to eat their breakfast and take them for a long walk.

I started earlier this morning with trying to get a few household chores done. I gathered up my small load of laundry (bed clothes, garments, towels and wash cloths) and finally have then all cleaned and dried and folded and put away. I also put on to cook a small crock pot of homemade vegetable soup. I used tiny Yukon Gold fingerling potatoes, carrots, sweet red pepper, scallions, two types of mushrooms, and added a little bit of roasted chicken too. Six hours later, *lol* :blush: , I am done for the day. I'm having soup, then a long bath, then will crawl into bed to rest for the rest of today. :)

Where in the world does all the crud come from when you get a respiratory illness??? In between coughing fits and blowing my nose, I have washed my hands and cleaned every surface I can think of, this morning. Ufffffzzzzz. (w)

In other news: I am getting ready for my ride to the doctor office, got my weekend bag packed, tidied up the bed and kitchen, but need to take a shower and find something comfy to wear before my taxi ride shows up, early this afternoon (I have a 5-hour head start, lol :| ).

Working on my work lunch, starting a meal plan/grocery list, listening to Spotify and browsing The Penny Hoarder

Just to quickly check in: earlier today, my mom called me. Then when she hung up, my phone died. I gathered up my purse and riding badge and went to the closest t-mobile kiosk and they took my phone apart and after tinkering around a bit, my phone was healed. THANK Heaven, *LOL*

I got back home in time to wait for my taxi ride to the doctor's office, but holiday traffic is soooooo bad, that my driver was an hour late. :|

But again, everything turned out okay. Doctor appt went well. I has new medicine to cure me of my icky sickness, and am now at my bff's house and hanging out with her family. :)

Will be a VERY relaxing weekend. Good food. Great company. Lots of TV. *LOL* :cheer:

Listening to the news and getting ready to jack up some ants with the last of the peppermint oil.

Yesterday I got my fill of HBO movies and watched .... Good Will Hunting, Girl on the Train, and Sully (x2, Tom Hanks was awesome!).

Today... :) .... I will watch for the second time, because the documentary was so excellent, the film about the Madoff scandal, Wizard of Lies.

And whatever other good flicks I can find to watch.

Fixing to go back to bed.....

Getting ready to fire up the grill. I love the whole process of grilling with charcoal.

Drying last load of laundry, cooking some pasta, running box fan in the window and drawing in last of the cool morning air. :fan:

I'm grilling cheesy metts, hotdogs and cheeseburgers. Wednesday, I grill some steaks and corn wrapped in bacon. It was yummy.

I love stacking the charcoal briquettes in a pyramid and the lighting and waiting till the coals are perfect.

Got on a cleaning spree, i have washed and folded 2 loads of laundry, swept the entire house, cleaning the kitchen, swept my balconies and gathered up all the trash and recycling to take down, and fixed breakfast and lunch. All since 830 am and taking care of my sick Daddy. It's barely noon. :bolt:

Watching baseball and cuddling with the dog.

Packing up my sister's stuff, her move is on Thursday.

Watching Straight Outta Compton and using chopsticks to pick the last few olives out of a jar. Looking forward to a Monday off. :)
