I've got the most important thing done, which was to spend some quality time with a Geeky friend and look over ole Bessie to make sure she's okay. She passed inspection!
Now, I'm simmering some veggies I got from the reduced produce section of the grocery store and once that cools, I'll put it in the fridge for this week's work lunches. I've done some dusting...*cough, cough*...but will need to do some more before the day is done. I'll need to vacuum again by day's end with all the little bits of Loki that are flying about. I'll also need to continue with more household re-organization. That got put on hold but really needs some attending to. |

I don't know! I woke up late it's Monday I haven't even thought about what I have to do this week but I know as long as my boss is talking on the phone she won't come in here and talk to me!!!!!!!

Some dumb-ass from NY woke me up before 8 so my plan of sleeping late shit the bed. I don't feel well so I won't be doing cartwheels and jumping jacks today either so my new plan for the day is to relax until my uterus decides to stop waging war against me and then continue with the slow going process of culling through the home for things to trash or donate or sell. I already played some online games so after I finish up here, I'll get started on that.

It's a long list on the agenda for this Saturday! It's time to purge junk that has accumulated in the garage, gather stuff from Mary's donate pile to drop off later at Goodwill, and shred some documents so they don't fall into the wrong hands, (identity thief). After these tasks are completed it's off to the bank, post office, (yes, I'm mailing another care pkg out) and grocery stores. |

Later this evening there is a Motown Festival. Live music, food, drinks, people watching, shopping. The weather has taken a dip so a cute sweater will be needed.

- finish a craft project - assemble a clothes rack - deep clean the kitchen - laundry - text my sister - find my medical equipment traveling bag - find my orange sandals - make a list of all the rides I want to ride at Walt Disney World (two weeks!) - make red beans and rice - change handbags I made a good start today. |

(but note this is on the bottom of my list as i wait patiently for an offer) hmmm I think that's enough.. OH and can never forget nap times |

Grateful for a day off from work.
I was up early for play time with my dog. I had my mother over to do yard work together, which is really just a venue for us to chat. We raked and talked for a few hours. We needed that. It was good. I will leave in a couple of hours to do grocery shopping and meet a good friend for tea. Then I will come home and finish up some chores and get ready for work tomorrow. |

I'm still working on my to-do list from last weekend:
- finish a craft project - DONE - assemble a clothes rack - DONE - deep clean the kitchen - HALF-ASSEDLY DONE - laundry - DONE and none of the following: - text my sister - find my medical equipment traveling bag - find my orange sandals - make a list of all the rides I want to ride at Walt Disney World (two weeks!) - make red beans and rice - change handbags plus I have added about 5 more things to the list, which I don't even have with me right now, which isn't helping any of them get done. But, I will keep soldiering on. All this stuff _MUST_ happen before my vaycay. |
I wanted to finish my craft project and I did so that's all I care about really. Anything else is gravy.

Today there's a lot of trainings and two meetings. This is not a good day for it to be pouring down rain - it makes it very difficult to stay awake and concentrate.

I mailed my craft project out, which was the main agenda. I also returned some things, picked up a new bag of prescription cat food, grabbed a few grocery items and bought a few amazing things.
I got the cats a new cat tree for the holidays. It's early but they won't see it until December so it's all good. It's HUUUUGE and super tall and has 4 levels and 3 beds built in large enough for Loki to stretch out (he hangs over his built in bed because the current tree is Gracie sized and he's 3 times bigger than her) plus a scratching post, all on the same tree and it was reasonably priced. The Universe also provided me with the opportunity to purchase a medium sized shelving metal shelving unit with flower cut outs at each level on each side. It's unique and quite lovely. I'm not sure where it will land but I simply could not pass it up. I picked a couple more small items for the home and some watermelon cotton candy but that's it, basically. |
