A quick catch-up chat on the phone with The Mum, Love hearing her smile when we talk, she is my all time hero, hands down. She deserves the love she receives, because of her huge heart and how she takes everyone she meets under her wing, I am so fucking lucky to have such a wonderful, inspirational woman in my life, she asks for nothing and is brought to tears when she gets the thanks and love returned that she so deserves.

Watching my granddaughter make instant friends at the playground, and listening in on her conversations with her new friend.

Took my t-shirt off last night and left it on a chair in the living room, totally forgot to pick it up and put it in the washing basket, just discovered the furry arse snuggled up inside of it, too fucking cute!

David Jones is my best buddy for over 20 years. Within our circle of friends he is called my gay husband because he has companies that accommodate my landscaping, pest control and jacuzzi needs free of charge. His partner felt so intimidated, that after 1.5 years of their dating, he finally agreed to meet with me today.

We had a lovely breakfast, lots of laughs and a few tears. I felt relieved to find out that his feelings were really the result of heavy stuff from the past.

Our time together ended with a hug and lunch plans. This made me smile BIG today.:)

Look at this young talent!!!!! :cheesy::clap:

You gotta smile when you listen to these young ladies!!! :winky:

If that doesn't brighten your day, nothing will. Even Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young can't quite compare with these young ladies. I think it'd make them very proud!!! :)

Another reason to smile, finally managed to post a pic I took in the gallery of one of the many castles around where I live, it looks almost like it should be in a fairy tale

The absolutely gorgeous weather... and watching my dog play and enjoy sunbathing in it for hours on end in the back yard.

What made me smile today...

Not having leftovers to put away!! :D

At the shelter that is a good thing. It means all is well in the Land of the Teens and appetites are high. Everyone has their way of following the kids' moods and I use their eating habits as mine. When we have staff meetings and a kid's psyche is in question we collaborate and I contribute this to the discussion. It comes in very handy and is greatly appreciated by the clinicians, etc.

So yeh... Happy Happy Happy... at least for today!! :cheesy:

A walk where I found roses blooming. Yes, I stopped to smell them. Twice.

Our cabin..Our home. Our plans.
He brings things home and tells me i can decide where it should go once i'm home..And, that i can refinish it also if i like. i do love to refinish old pieces, or restore them..i love that old cabin, there is so much that can be done with it, and i'm excited to make it Our home.. i am starting to package some of my things up to send there, so when i arrive i'll have some things to unpack..

i loved having pictures of us done (as well as Our chosen family there) and putting pictures around the cabin.. Looking around, and seeing Our love, Our smiling faces, and the people We love.. It's the little things..& they feel so big.. my heart is full, and i feel very blessed.. Loving Him so.. ♥

Harley!!

Picked up my '88 Harley yesterday - it's a "bobber" - trimmed down to just the basics, hard mounted - and I smiled more when the clutch pedal needed fixing today - I've got a long, cold winter to fool around in the garage -
