A student basically telling me he would never do his community service. Our exchange of looks. Mine saying, "Oh, yes, you are." His saying, "Hell no, I am not." And then he cracked up laughing. lol.

i met a new neighbor of my clients while i was coming in the building...she was sorely in need of help moving in...so i stopped to help her and we got to talking...she was just the nicest lady and is moving in on the same floor as my client...the best part about it is....she teaches social dancing....and ive been wanting teddy and i to take a class! its always interesting to me how people come into your life and the whens and whys....we have plans to have tea once she's settled....there are still good people in this world....so good to know....

My Christmas cards I ordered, were delivered today. And they are beautiful!
Took my dog to the vet, she has been very sick.... the bill made me smile , wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. My dog is still sick but recovering.:praying:

My daughter and her best friend got their pictures taken for a local paper at the fair last week. I happened to remember to pick up the paper today, and found the picture :). Very cool.

My nephew, bright, sweet, athletic, finally beginning his recovery from Miller Fisher Syndrome. I finally saw the terror begin to dissipate from his eyes.

Waking to the first snow of the season, so pretty. A fun evening with my sweetie looking through recipes for our future skype date nights. Knowing that we both work hard at making this distance work for US. Planning our date night for tomorrow! Getting things done around my cabin, to make it cozy for my first winter in it. Life is good and it makes me smile.

Being able to keep a secret from my daughter all the way till we pulled into the parking lot at the theater... AND... her excitement as she put all the pieces together.

WOOT....after tonight I am fairly certain I can stop planning a move to Canada or how to convince Canada that I deserve refugee status if Romney is elected. That has made me a very happy woman!!! Go Obama

I know this fear. My symptoms began in late June & it took 6 ambulance rides To three different hospitals before a doctor finally recognized the symptoms of Guillain-Barre Syndrome, Almost 2 months later. Here I am almost 4 months later and I worry every day that this will never go away. My smile today came from reading about your nephew's progress.I'm so happy for him and your family & this brings me great hope! Thank you for your post :)
