JDeere 10-09-2016 08:50 PM

Drinking a sprite and watching forensic files.

Orema 10-10-2016 08:09 AM

Eating some ginger snaps and drinking a cup of coffee while trying to replicate a problem I had last week on the computer.

cinnamongrrl 10-10-2016 09:08 AM

Steeping some lemon grass I had to cut back..wishing I had some ginger snaps and trying to figure out where to hike today

femmeandstrong 10-10-2016 09:19 AM

Having breakfast outside and doing a basic chemistry refresher...yes...just for fun ...lol

Gayandgray 10-10-2016 11:22 AM

Getting ready for work. Only six days left to work there, then I get a 3day break before starting orientation at the new nursing home!!!!:hangloose::hangloose:

cinnamongrrl 10-10-2016 05:49 PM

Considering trying toothpicks to keep my eyes open

Fresh air, a nice campfire and a beer are all lending to an early night....

Kätzchen 10-10-2016 06:23 PM

I had such a great time with my mom and youngest brother yesterday, that I found myself listening to all kinds of hillbilly country western swing steel pedal guitar songs .... all afternoon.

But, right now I'm listening to songs by Waylon Jennings and trying to decide what to have for supper. That, and making spur of the moment plans to try and go back home for Thanksgiving.

Wrang1er 10-12-2016 01:18 PM

At the endocrinologist with my mother. Today's purse is goldish. Definitely not my color. She's feeling good today even though she found out she is 4' 11" not 5' 2".

starryeyes 10-12-2016 03:55 PM

Had a random day off.... so getting dinner in the crockpot and watching tv with my little dogs :)

Oh, I can empathize.

I used to be 5'3, ok, 5'2 and 3/4th, if you want to get technical about it.

The last time I went to the doctor, they measured my height and I am 5'1 now. WTF.

I don't have osteoporosis so I have no idea where those inches went.

I am still miffed about it.

Walk everywhere barefoot...a good set of solid callouses can add at least 1/4 inch .Not enough? Try always wearing vertical stripes, even to the Doctor's office.

WingsOnFire 10-12-2016 08:45 PM

sitting in the dark in a park trying to decide what to do next. Seems I lack purpose this week. Im not used to feeling this way

They made her remove her shoes. She said she's still saying 5' 2" regardless. She too got a little miffed. :)

JDeere 10-12-2016 11:07 PM

Doing 2 loads of laundry because I need clean work shorts and shirts.

And watching id channel

s0litude 10-13-2016 01:08 AM

Having a piece of German Chocolate cake and a glass of sweet tea

Setting aside clothes for the Wake tomorrow night for my childhood friend who just passed :( I have to iron a white dress shirt and grey slacks for the funeral on Friday. I suck at ironing. I'm told I missed my calling when it comes to cooking, can sew, do all the things a lot of the femmes joke about the "fellas" being inept on, but ironing...? I put more wrinkles INTO clothing when I try it seems.

Watching my boy (cat, Micah) curled up on my bed asleep

...And feeling pretty tall for a change right now at 5'5".

bright_arrow 10-13-2016 01:37 AM

Just finished a series of lessons for a class... fell asleep trying to watch The Visit earlier, had a goodnight phone call with the boy (who is in LA for a business trip), then decided to stay up and watch the first episode of Game of Thrones while I knocked out some homework. Now it's time to retire to bed for 5 hours of sleep - the most I'll of had since the weekend.

Blood sugar has been wonky lately so I've been feeling pretty crappy :seeingstars:

Go to the doc's in the morning! Due to gravity's pull throughout the day, we can lose up to an inch every day but you're tallest when you get up in the morning so go then.

I blame genetics for my own height issues. My father is 5'11" and my mother was 5'4", so it would be logical to assume I'd be between the two, right? NOPE! Genetics threw me a curve ball and I'm 5'1.5" because my mother's fraternal twin sister is 4'11".

Now that's some shit. Blew my mind when I started learning about genetics in my biology classes. Everything made sense then!

For thread compliance, I am typing right now.

:)

Soon 10-13-2016 06:54 AM

Sitting in the Lisbon airport terminal waiting for my flight to Frankfurt. My month long journey of personal travel has ended; in one week, I begin teaching in Weimar!

Kätzchen 10-14-2016 05:41 AM

Starting my work day (tgif) <3

Kätzchen 10-16-2016 09:02 AM

I treated myself yesterday to a full bed rest day, so I'm feeling well rested and ready to get a few things crossed off my to-do list today: light housekeeping, small load of laundry washed and dried, then go shopping this afternoon for a winter jacket, hat and gloves. I might even have enough time to go see a movie... I :stillheart: Sunday's.

*Anya* 10-16-2016 02:06 PM

Watching the Rams lose to the Detroit Lions by 3 points.

Shystonefem 10-16-2016 02:12 PM

Enjoying the Patriots win.

starryeyes 10-16-2016 05:23 PM

Driving our RV to the car wash after a great weekend camping with the dogs :)

Gayandgray 10-16-2016 06:34 PM

Trying real hard not to let the grown grandkid's drama get on my nerves! I love them dearly but they continue to make poor choices and put themselves in the situations that they are in, then want their grandmother and I to bail them out. My spouse always wants to give in but I feel tough love is needed in some situations.:confused:

Chad 10-16-2016 07:26 PM

Now

Getting ready to go to bed for the night. I had a great family weekend. I am so tired now but super happy and loved.

Inquiring minds want to know if you got to see a movie! If so what did you see and did you like it? :movieguy:

JDeere 10-16-2016 08:04 PM

Laundry. I am in dire need of clean A-shirts.

candy_coated_bitch 10-16-2016 09:23 PM

Watching tv and relaxing.

clay 10-16-2016 09:28 PM

Earlier watching TV. Now I am just unwinding, reading some posts, & thankful for the wonderful day I had!

Running late, but that's okay. I'm allowed.

Liam 10-17-2016 06:08 AM

Finishing my tea, before I go to work.

EnderD_503 10-17-2016 07:36 AM

Just relaxing before its time to go to work. Thinking of doing a bit of bathroom cleaning.

cassiopeia67 10-17-2016 10:03 AM
