I gorged tonight. I think I just kept eating so I wouldn't fall asleep.
:blink: I made a salad of baby arugula and baby romaine with crumbled gorgonzola, mandarin orange slices, glazed walnuts and sugar free raspberry vinaigrette to go with an almond crusted flounder, some brown and wild rice, steamed broccoli and a small bowl of fresh fruit. I now have a Buddha belly. |
Roast beef and provolone grinder and chips.

I've been so busy doing other stuff today, I haven't given dinner a thought until a moment ago. I have some leftover mojo roasted chicken, a big bowl of salad greens, and some raw veggies to add to the salad so I will likely go that route.

Slow cooked ribs, two veggie sides not to be determined as of yet, a salad with cherry tomatoes, cucumbers, thin slices of red onion with a lemon vinagaret dressing.

it's friday so it's kitchen creation time:
1) Bombay Potatoes with Madras Lentil and red bean served over rice (packaged up into meals) 2) homemade veggie burgers 3) sauteed up some mushroom and onions and whipped up some sun-dried tomato vegan mayo to make panini sandwiches to be served with seasoned fries |
Leftovers ... baked chicken, lentils, sliced cucumbers, popsicle for dessert.

I bought a family feast from Pollo Tropical, a regional chain restaurant - we haven't had them in Atlanta until very recently. I love this place so much, I try to find one to stop at every time I go to Florida. My local restaurant opened TODAY!

Dinner was leftover lunch from today
I had fried catfish, a salad and okra. Ate the salad there so I finished off the catfish and okrie. Oh and I had a fried green tomato. Not as good the second time round. Thinking about having some butterscotch pudding for a treat. I happened down the right aisle and fiundbsome :) I like it even better than chocolate...mmmm |

We went out for dinner tonight to this great old restaurant that's been in business since 1927. Their menu looks like it, too, and their food is delicious.
- Braised beef short ribs with herb gravy - pole beans - mashed potatoes - yeast rolls and corn bread (the white corn meal not-sweet kind) - 2 lemon drop martinis I brought home a piece of chocolate meringue pie for later. |
I had a salad of mixed greens, mushrooms, grape tomatoes, shredded cheese, mini peppers and OG light Italian dressing with leftover pepperoni pizza I crisped up in the oven nice and good. I followed that up with the last of the Breyers Cherry Vanilla ice cream, which actually tastes more like black cherry to me. It was all delish.

Last night I went out for Hibachi with my daughter and her boyfriend...at an ungodly 9 at night...but I'd skipped all my meals because I was painting so..
We had shrimp and rice and veggies and I got a California roll since I'd not had sushi since God was a child. I tried some of her boyfriend's sushi too. I forget what it was though... Hibachi is always fun. I hadn't been in years. We need to make a regular thing out of it. And I have leftovers for lunch. Can't beat that |

I'm roasting some Brussel sprouts, lamb, and small baby potatoes, for supper tonight. But I'm also making a small apple strudel too. I'm not sure if the ingredients I'm using will turn out to be as tasty as I imagine it might be, so I'm doing a test run on my recipe: I'm using tiny jalapeņo's and incorporating them into the pie crust. I was thinking that Apples, cinnamon and jalapeņo's would make an interesting apple strudel. Hopefully, it is an amazing creation of tastiness.

Update on the apple strudel: I didn't like it. Boooo, lol!
I tossed it out. My regular Apple strudel is the winner, so I'm making taking it to the birthday party this weekend. It's loaded with walnuts, cinnamon, and I use Pink Lady apples, which are so tasty. Roasted lamb left overs tonight. Small garden salad, too. I made a jello salad last night (Lime, with pineapple), so that's what having for dessert. |

I made my spouse some pasta with Alfredo sauce this morning, to heat up tonight while I was working. So I packed some for me but we worked short so I never got time to eat it. I snacked on homemade trail mix I packed, raw veggies, a banana, and I ate a Kashi peanut hemp crunch bar on the way home. I was starving!!!!!:eatinghersheybar::eatinghersheybar:: eatinghersheybar:
