I woke up hungry, unlike usual so I had a bowl of Crispex with milk and a cup of wild blueberries, Nice change.

I don’t feel hungry, my appetite has disappeared, but I need some form of nourishment before I go to work. I will make some scrambled eggs and maybe a slice of toast. Maybe a small cup of juice and some coffee.

The boy very kindly brought me a cherry popover, so that's what I'll be having for breakfast later.

I’m going to make one Belgian waffle (heart shaped pattern) and scramble a few eggs with heavy cream, salt & pepper. Then, cut up an orange and get the almond butter warmed up so I can have Almond butter (with cinnamon and honey) spread over the Belgian waffle.

2 soft boiled eggs, avocado 🥑 on a circle size (3” across) of naan bread, and a scoop of Almond Cashew butter for extra shot of protein. Cup of black coffee with Blue Agave syrup and heavy cream. Quart of water goes to work with me and two hydration drinks (Lime & Lemonade).

"Just Crack An Egg" Southwestern style with two eggs instead of one. Works just fine as long as you follow the instructions for two eggs. However, I don't like it as well as with just one egg. Next time I'll probably just make it with one egg and then use the cup over to scramble a second egg. Gotta get in that protein.

Smart Start and milk. Brittany doesn't quite know what to think of the Smart Start flakes; she's more used to Apple Jacks rings or Cap'n Crunch squares. I really like Smart Start, but it's expensive and it never goes on sale.

We had brunch today. I made scrambled eggs with sautéed spinach, onions, garlic, and tomatoes. I added shredded mozzarella when everything was cooked. I served the eggs with warmed tortillas. Pete had salsa verde and I had hot sauce.

I went to bed early last night in prep for a new work schedule; so I took the time to do something healthy for my breakfast.
Two small rounds of Naan, pan toasted in evoo. On the side, in the same pan: About a half cup of chopped, fresh cabbage, about a quarter of a red bell pepper diced, and about two tablespoons of a kohlrabi salad with quinoa, dried cranberries and cubed squash…. Warming up in the evoo around circles of Naan. That powers me up my busy day ahead and should carry me until it’s time for supper, after work, tonight. |
The grocery store I love to shop at has an amazing delicatessen. My studio sized living quarters has a tiny kitchen which comes with a tiny stove and fridge (Barbie doll sized), lol. Sometimes I buy Fennel meat balls smothered in marinara and topped with shredded fresh Parmesan cheese. Sometimes it’s a fresh salad mixture, and sometimes I get fresh smoked salmon. I recently bought a small collection of brunch cups: ham, sweet peas and Gruyère or dark cherries, walnuts and smoked Gouda. Both are very tasty. I’m having Desert Sunrise coffee and a dark cherry brunch cup, for breakfast today.

Yesterday I tried something different, lol. I used dark green romaine leaves and made a sandwich with refried black beans, avocado, and melted cheese, it was delicious!
Today, 😁, I’m making my roasted organic rainbow beet breakfast, that I simmer in evoo with a healthy dose of organic crushed rosemary; then cook two eggs over easy and sprinkle sea salt and freshly cracked pepper on top of it all. Oh, and a small jalapeño pepper sliced up and pan seared with the beets. So yummy. :tea: |

Moon baby and I have a ritual in the morning. After I gather my coffee and put her wet food in her bowl, I’ve bring her bowl and my coffee to my recliner. She lays down at my feet. I open up wrapper of pop tarts. Oh boy, does she love pop tarts! Today was cinnamon and brown sugar. She gets one and I get one. I break hers up and put half her feet and the other half goes into her bowl. Us two girls quietly eat our meal to start our day.

I changed up my blueberry pancake recipe and made them with slivered almonds and put a sprinkle of cinnamon too in my blueberry pancakes.
I had: one blueberry almond pancake with one egg over easy and one cup of coffee with Caramel Oat milk creamer. 🌷🦋💯🎯☺️ |
I'm about to go scramble a couple of eggs with some cilantro and cheese. Hmmmm, some green salsa sounds enticing as well.
