keeping warm on a cold Ohio afternoon, getting ready to pour through some bird books, drinking International pepperming mocha coffee with a kitty on my toes and my old girl newfie pressed up against the couch. listening to the purr of my furnace and the tick tock of my clock and feeling right pretty in the quiet of my life....

Upset with my son (puppy) for chewing up my phone charger... GGGRRRR I think its timie for him to go stay with his "momma" for awhile... Just went online to amazon.com and found one for two dollars brand new.. Now to use my car friekin charger for 3-5 bus days...

...has been sitting here awake in a hotel room for over an hour, trying to keep the room dark and quiet so Scoote can sleep. This is hard enough at home when I can go in the other room, but here....it sucks and is boring as hell. Waking up automatically at 6:30 every morning when half the family sleeps until 10 or later is absolutely ridiculous.
On a happier note, I actually got to meet Zimmy in real life yesterday! :cheer: |

I swear my brain is melting and leaking out of my right ear. I wish I could get the friggin' jerk that decided I really needed to take algebra AND accounting in the same block and smack him (or her) repeatedly about the head and shoulders. With a big friggin' baseball bat. With nails stickin' out of it. And stuff. :blink: |
OK now that all of the Monday evening excitement is over at my house what with the meth lab smell outside that we called 911 about, yes the fire and police showed up....and my roomie locking herself out of the house in the cold...Blade thinks he is gonna get horizontal now, at least for a bit. Of course he will be back later.....he never sleeps all night

Sparkle is sick to f'ing death of wearing snow boots and/or slippers. These appear to be her only options given this ridiculous winter.

Bard is being semi-productive made appointment for my kiddo for a eye exam her school nurse says she may need glasses making a turkey meatloaf for dinner cause we are trying to be more healthy round here, and then going to surprise desd at work and get stuff to make the home more energy efficient:seeingstars:
