What made me smile....
last night, cuddlin' in bed, my boo singing to me like Barry White "Can't get enough of your love baby". |
wee singing children, never fail to make me smile....and make my work day (& attitude) a whole lot better.

Same thing that's started my day with a smile everyday this week since we met, a text from that georgeous creative intelligent sensitive patient someone special who truly understands putting my feelings as a priority to them and not treat me like a goal to push and achieve as soon as possible. A DaVinci mind with a cowboy's heart... How could I NOT smile before my eyes open when I hear the buzz and music of my good morning....

Teaching kickball to a few dozen coworkers from India (they kept trying to run the wrong way around the bases or run in circles...it took a few tries to get the diamond concept figured out). There was a lot of laughter and overcoming cultural assumptions. Hehe.

Oh yeah I almost forgot to mention that I go and see My doctor tomorrow to get blood work done, and then next friday I am scheduled to get a complete physical to make sure that all is in order ............. if all goes well, next week could be when I get My first T shot :cheesy:

I smile at her sweet, comforting words. I smile at the thought of seeing her soon. I smile because I am so proud of her. I smile because she loves me, as I love her. I smile because she is mine, as I am hers... :)

Moving day is tomorrow. A bright sunny big apartment with two of my favorite people in the world. That even though I am being left out of some things I used to be totally a part of, I don't hurt about it anymore. Cause yanno life is too short to worry about or care about people who don't love you anymore. Life changes. For the better.

Going to my daughters school for open house and her teacher telling me how advanced she is , then another teacher stopped us in the hall to tell me what a super star she is. even made having to spend time wih my ex at this event bareable. with all the dissaproving looks from the ex and all

I'm smiling now, AT&T just waived 374 bucks. I was being charged for damages
for my old Blackberry. It wasn't the fact that the metal door holding SIM card broke. They waived the charge because they never advised me of terms and conditions. This took about an hour today. :phonegab: |
It's a good day and I know that some friends are having a good day too.

The kindness of a stranger. I met somebody today through someone else here and he offered to send ibuprofen to hold me over until I can see a doc on the 5th. I don't have a car, (i lost my truck because i got so sick and couldn't work). The clinic closest to me doesn't take my insurance. I have a lot of pain in my shoulder now but how cool that a stranger would extend themselves. I'll be sure to pay it forward. Meantime, I'll do ice and heat and ibuprofen and see if I can keep it mobile so I don't get frozen shoulder.
