Yes.....I'm in the Ft. Laud area....but I am closer to Boca Raton than Ft. Lauderdale.

Welcome to Florida! I hope that you and your family are enjoying your visit to the Sunshine State! I am new to this part of Florida myself, (I was raised in Jacksonville) so I only know a couple of people here but so far everyone seems really nice and accepting of us new folks. :) Looking forward to meeting ya'll :)

Yeah well that afternoon rain has expanded into a two day rain fest here! But it sure is nice to have the heat let up some. :)
