The Last Movie I Saw
The last movie I saw was a fantasy called Tuck Everlasting starring: Scott Baristow, Sissy Spacek, William Hurt, Alexis Bledel, and Joshua Jackson. It was a wonderful movie! I would definitely recommend it to anyone who loves a good love story or fantasy flick!! :moonstars:

You mean, in a theater, right? Let's see, musta been Jaws. The first one. (I'm not much one for theaters.)
|
The Tourist
I saw that recently, I liked it. Nothing with Johnny Depp disappoints me. Angelina Jolie is ok too, I used to have a very negative reaction to her, I guess I resented her in Gone in 60 Seconds, maybe I should watch that again to see if I am over it. I thought she was good in Salt, too.

I havent seen the inside of a movie theatre in months so Netflix it is ~ last two movies I saw were The Final Destination & National Lampoon's Van Wilder :-)
Love both movies!!!! |
The Green Hornet - I thought it was going to be a lame kid type movie. Was very entertaining, lots of action, nice humor, and I loved Kato. |
Shutter Island. I like Leonardo di Caprio, but he'll never shed his squeaky-clean face no matter if he lets his stubble grow for a movie or not. He is really an actor. Watching Ruffalo in scenes with him, it's like he has this weird smirk as if he's just enjoying watching Leo act too, and has a few lines to throw in every now and then.
I won't spoil the ending for others, though it was spoiled for me, still enjoyed watching it. Some of the continuity errors are weird, but there's a lot of hoo-haa about it being intentional on Scorcese's part. He'll never tell ;) |
Got The King's Speech yesterday from Netflix. I got it mostly because it was reviewed and awarded so highly. I really didn't have a clue what it was about. Wow! I really liked it.
|
Sin Nombre... excellent and very well done. Foreshadow and everything.
|
Killers, it was funny.
|
Midnight In Paris. It was quite enjoyable.

"Tree of Life"
From Terrence Malick, the acclaimed director of Badlands, Days of Heaven and The Thin Red Line, comes The Tree of Life, an impressionistic story of a Midwestern family in the 1950s. The film follows the life journey of the eldest son, Jack, through the innocence of childhood to his disillusioned adult years as he tries to reconcile a complicated relationship with his father (Brad Pitt). Jack (played as an adult by Sean Penn) finds himself a lost soul in the modern world, seeking answers to the origins and meaning of life while questioning the existence of faith. Through Malick's signature imagery, we see how both brute nature and spiritual grace shape not only our lives as individuals and families, but all life. Winner of the Palme d'Or (top honors) at this year's Cannes International Film Festival Key word: impressionistic!!!!!!! |
Bridesmaids... and it was funny as hell!
|
