Remembering this from a different time...

"Desiderata

Go placidly amid the noise and haste, and remember
what peace there may be in silence.

from the unlikely background of an early working
life in the Scottish coal-fields to become one of
Britain best known contemporary artists; he is
entirely self taught.


Contrast Group Biography
Contrast is a trio with a rare instrumental combination.
Its founding members, Kitty Cheung, violin;
Timothy Sun, Saxophone; Jenny Ng, piano are graduated
Masters students at the Guildhall School of Music and
Drama in London, United Kingdom. They came together
in 2007 with the same vision of creating new sounds
and giving the audience a new and exciting experience
through their performances.

Other Doors

And then there are other doors.

Doors are funny that way you know.

Some doors have away of closing
shortly after being opened

And some doors are revolving
you go through time and time again
repeating the same old ways
the same old dreams
the same old desires until

perhaps you wake up, stop
and close them forever more
Poe not withstanding you simply
do not open them again.

Then there are the doors that stay
closed. What is behind them?
What music could they sing?
What Love could be found.
Nonetheless they remain closed.

Open doors?
But that's another poem
another thread, here or in another
dimension.

Walking to this door, will I turn my
back? Will I open it?
Let's simply call it limbo time.

Until another evening awakens in me
more words, more images, more Love.
