I am quite the grateful one for Sissy, my GP, G'Licious & Louise....:toast:
I'm very grateful for precious Lucy, who makes me laugh every day with her antics... :doghead: I'm oh so grateful for my simple home....thanks Mom and Dad...(f) I'm grateful for the wonderful weather Austin is experiencing this week! :) And finally, I'm blessed beyond measure, and very grateful for my amazing daughter........who is soon to be here! YEA! :3femme: |
I'm grateful for those that keep me in their thoughts and hearts. It's a good feeling to be thought of and wanted.
Edited to add: I am grateful for the Universe sending me the PERFECT trainer so I can laugh while sweating and discovering how strong I really can be. |

I am grateful for so many things in my life.
*First and foremost all of the love that is in my life..family, friends, and pups *For the opportunity to go back to school full time and have the chance, at this stage in my life, to put my skills and my knowledge to good use doing what I love! *For all the positive things in my life... *for the fact that I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE school and always thought I would absolutely hate it. Wrongo G! :winky: *for my health, my family's health, my friends health *for my awesome pups that make me laugh out loud on a daily basis; and the unconditional love and lots of little kisses I get when having a bad day. *for a job that allows me to take time off to go to school and still get paid. *for this BFP, and all of the family and friends I have here, that offer their support and love ALL of the time.... *finally, I am thankful that volleyball season starts next week and I get to play in the sand! :clap: *oh, and I am thankful for cake....and this thermos. For the many, many blessings in my life, I am thankful today and always for...
my family ~ for as dysfunctional as they are, the unconditional love is always there. my friends, near & far. Even though life in general or the miles keep us apart, we are often in eachother's thoughts & always close in heart. my jobs. As much as I complain about working for "the man" or about the crazy people at BANGO, I know that they provide me with security, and the ability to play as hard as I work. my continued good health (and for the ability to take steps to improve it), and for the good health of my loved ones. the beautiful sunshine that warms my skin and nourishes my soul. music that speaks when the words fail me, and for igniting wonderful memories of people, times & places. the ocean breeze on my face, that brings instant peace to my life. the power of positive thinking that takes over my spirit, and helps me see the best in situations, people and myself. |
Things I was certain I would never find.

Life
I was sitting in my office, paying bills, concentrating on the paperwork in front of me when suddenly I saw a flurry of winged activity and
BAM !!! A bird hit the bay window. Hard. I was startled and looked outside to see a Robin fluttering her wings. She came to rest in a small divot and flattened herself into it. She was panting. I didn't know birds panted. She was flat, guarded and dazed. I watched her, wanting to check on her, and knowing if I did it would add to her trauma. And she kept panting. Her little body was shaking with each breath. Then her head slowly dropped, her eyes started closing and her little body quieted. And I thought...actually I blurted : "C'mon Baby, don't die..." and she just faded. A minute or two later she twitched and her eyes jerked open. Nothing around. She closed her eyes and her little head dropped again. Same thing... a little bird jerk, eyes popped open and she looked around. I watched her, and watched over her for 20 minutes before she wobbled to her little stick legs, and flew into a nearby tree. That was one tough little bird. Blessings abound - |
I am so grateful for my life, my friends, family, pets & animals. Life is a gift. It's hard, but it is still good, and still a gift. :cowboy::gimmehug::cheer: |

I'm grateful for my new house and my extra hot mortgage officer, who got me the low interest rate of 4.29% . I'm grateful for my new carpeting, it makes the house smell brand new!!!!! I'm grateful my new neighbors the seem very friendly. I'm grateful there is a basketball court at the park in my subdivision.

yesterday I received a great deal of generous help with a computer issue...
Linus took his time and thought to guide me through the disk burning process... SuperFemme offered to resize the pictures I needed to post on line...she spent more time than I am comfortable with getting them to fit into the online application dimensions... this both, from people I have not, and may never, meet in "real life"....and yet the assistance has had a major impact (positive) on my real life...a clear and tangeable overlap... a great friend came in from santa cruz in the morning to help me out with a step in the process....I had another beloved helper as well... all in all I am thankful for the generous, kindhearted, and open-handed help I got in the process... Diva ~ For the ride to the hospital in the Little Diva Carriage~! For staying with me before I went into surgery and being there (I don't remember this) when I got out and for not making fun of me (to my face) with the drug induced phone call you received when I got back to my room!! TxsCharmr ~ For being there and helping me through daily activities, your the best! My Madre ~ For taking time to be here for me. Homemade soups! For those who live close by, she has cooked for a small Army and there are plenty of leftovers! To YOU ~ Y'all know who you are, thank you again for the well wishes, phone calls, text messages and emails. Theo ~ for the many phone calls and text messages. Thank you... My Kids ~ Even though y'all are not here physically, I do appreciate all the phone calls and offline messages..I'm pretty sure you all time it just right to call within 10 minutes of each other AFTER I have taken pain meds.. BTW.. YES it hurts to laugh and please delete those text messages! |

~All things considered, I'm in remarkably good health - physically, mentally & emotionally. Thanks be to the Higher Power overseeing this! ~Even though she makes me crazy at times, I'm so grateful for Mini Diva.... ~I'm grateful for my sweet Home....the joy and comfort it brings me on a daily basis. ~For LuLu/Lucy/BooBoo/Puppy.....You're neurotic but omg do You ever make me laugh! I love how You get closer to me when You know I'm upset about something! ~For my computer.....I know I didn't really NEED one as fancy~schmancy as you, but I'm glad I have you in case I decide how to learn how to DO all those things! ~For my wealth of friends.....what a Gift Y'all are to me....I'm so thankful to those who are closest to me.....You know who You are. ~I'm grateful to Jack and Medusa and for all of their hard work, birthing this site ~ a sweet, comforting place to lay our hearts....sometimes we call that Family. |
