6.......... !!!!!!!!!!

Orema 02-27-2017 05:36 AM

8 or more. I lost track.

PaPa 02-27-2017 05:57 AM

About 5. Dad got me up by ringing his bell. 6 am and he wanted the blinds open in his bedroom. He informed me he was awake all night worried about bills and mom. I reassured him with automated call to bank telling him the balances of his accounts and investments and read to him the CT guided needle biopsy mom has scheduled this morning. Nurse will also be here to change his cath. A lot on his mind that he shouldn't be concerned with at 97 yeare old. "I got this, Dad. Rest. You need sleep."

Liam 02-27-2017 06:12 AM

Seven big hours!

Gayandgray 02-27-2017 10:55 AM

7.5.........

DapperButch 02-27-2017 11:13 AM

Probably in total no more than 2 hours...:|

legally_b10nde 02-27-2017 11:45 AM

Gemme 02-27-2017 12:22 PM

Sleep

Almost 6 hours but I feel like I need more sleep.

nycfem 02-27-2017 07:40 PM

4 hours

Wow, do I ever know how to deprive myself of sleep on work nights! This was THE WORST!

I was coming off a vacation which is always hard.

Here's what went wrong:

1) BB wants to watch the whole Oscars

2) I get very hungry at 9 pm and have Brussel sprouts and cabbage.

3) I get in a lonnnngggg online argument with someone that achieves only stabby feelings (and I never use that adjective).

4) I can't find my anti-itch creme and I have tons of mosquito bites from having been in Florida

5) I wake BB up and complain about how all the family dynamics at a funeral we went to made me want to implode.

I then took an Ambien (sleep) and a Klonopin (anxiety) because I was in danger of getting no sleep.

It really sucks to get what feels like a nap instead of a sleep and then have a jam-packed day the next day.

Oy vey.

pajama 02-27-2017 07:47 PM

Saturday night I stayed up binge watching The 100 until 2am, then the dogs woke me at 6:40.

So last night I fell asleep on the sofa at 6:30pm....went to the bed at 8:30pm....then woke up at 5am. So what's that...10.5 hours. LOL

Liam 02-28-2017 05:50 AM

Five hours.

Gemme 02-28-2017 06:53 AM

I got about 7.5 hours.

candy_coated_bitch 02-28-2017 08:03 AM

I got about three and a half.

Orema 02-28-2017 08:25 AM

7 or maybe 8. Lost track.

Chad 02-28-2017 12:21 PM

Sleep

I got about 5 hours of sleep last night. My dentist was pretty rough on me yesterday so I took a pain pill and fell asleep by 10 pm but woke up at 12:30 am for an hour or so. I went back to sleep but had weird dreams until time to get up at 5 am. I am hoping for a nap later.

Kätzchen 02-28-2017 12:48 PM

I've been taking my new blood pressure medicine for nearly 5 days, and yesterday was the first day I've recorded really good readings, so I'm thinking the medicine is helping to stabilize my heart condition. I also learned that I could use a particular function on my heart monitor, so the device wouldn't interrupt my ability to sleep.

Last night I went to bed shortly after 9pm.
I rose from sleep around 9am.

Best 12 hours of sleep I've had, since last November.

nycfem 02-28-2017 09:09 PM

5 HRS?

Another bad work-night sleep last night. What a hard issue this work night sleep thing is to conquer! I think I slept maybe five hours, like from about 1am to 6am. So I am doing the thing where I accumulate lost sleep as the work week progresses, which is TERRIBLE.

Last night I had to go to part II of a family funeral (distant relative). It was a Shiva night (Jewish gathering at a home). It really stressed me out, more weird family dynamics.

I came home and ordered sushi which made me have to need a long time to digest because I'd noshed at the Shiva too. I'm guessing I slept from around 1am to 6am... at best! Mosquito bites also still bothering me. I have sweet blood where I get tons more bites than anyone else. Lucky me.

Stud_puppy1991 02-28-2017 09:30 PM

Probably like 4 or less. I have had a lot on my mind, so I have found it extremely hard to sleep these days.

Liam 03-01-2017 07:51 AM

Seven and a half hours! The cool thing is that I was able to stay up later than usual, and l slept past my usual time to wake up - so I slept in, yay!

MsTinkerbelly 03-01-2017 09:28 AM

I slept around 8 hours, but I'm not feeling great. I will probably nap after I run Hal to and from organ practice.

Chad 03-01-2017 12:11 PM

Sleep

I got about 6 hours of sleep. I had trouble falling asleep and staying asleep. Lots of kitty lovey drovey time.

easygoingfemme 03-01-2017 04:23 PM

Not sure... I don't think it was enough and my dreams were intense- but not nightmares - which is nice. I haven't had an intense dream that wasn't a nightmare in a long time.

nycfem 03-02-2017 12:30 AM

4 hours

Last night was yet another work-week-sleep-disaster! I had an important work day and I hadn't gone to bed to go to sleep until like 12. I wanted to fall asleep quick so I took a Klonopin for anxiety and an Ambien for sleep (Please note that I have taken these two prescribed medications some nights and not others at bedtime either together or apart at the same dose for over a decade.). Anyway, occasionally when I take them together I get hungry. I don't go into a state where I have no memory the next day, but I do get hungry and need to eat. Usually they just put me to sleep but this was one of those times where I got loopy and hungry. So I got up and snacked and went on the computer and probably didn't fall asleep until 2. I woke up at 6 for work so that was 4 hours.

I listen to books on CD to get to sleep. They take my mind off things that I might obsess on in waking life. I am re-listening to an interesting book called "An Angel from Hell: Real life on the front lines." It's a true story about a man's experience being a soldier in a war. You'd think that would be depressing, but the man has a very resilient spirit and he is quite funny (He was on MTV's Big Brother too.). So it actually puts me to sleep nicely, meaning I don't have to listen to it for long usually before I fall asleep.

Weird me.

Orema 03-02-2017 04:20 AM

Six hours and back to tossing and turning.

And so it goes.

Liam 03-02-2017 05:26 AM

Five hours, I feel rested so there.

Gemme 03-02-2017 06:00 AM

Not many, unfortunately. I think it was about 5.5 hours.

easygoingfemme 03-02-2017 06:15 AM

About 4, which was not enough- not at all. Esp when I work 9am-8pm or maybe later today...

candy_coated_bitch 03-02-2017 06:20 AM

Three..........

Jesse 03-02-2017 09:27 AM

8 on the nose!

MsTinkerbelly 03-02-2017 09:27 AM

I slept around 6 hours; there was a car outside honking for the neighbors and it woke me up.

This will be me later when I see my neighbor :fastdraq:

Chad 03-02-2017 09:56 AM

Sleep

I got 8 hours of sleep. Yay!

I have the day off so I got to sleep in.

Gayandgray 03-02-2017 11:28 AM

9 I think????

JDeere 03-02-2017 11:37 AM

About 9. Lol I stopped keeping count.

nycfem 03-02-2017 07:43 PM

Last night was horrible, though I was working on a project so at least it was kind of for a good reason. I slept about 2:30 to 6, like 3.5 hours. I am going to have some major catching up to do this weekend. And functioning tomorrow is not going to be easy.

Orema 03-03-2017 04:36 AM

Five hours. Lots of tossing and turning. I have to work this weekend but I'll try and to catch up.

Liam 03-03-2017 05:37 AM

Five hours, uninterrupted.

Gemme 03-03-2017 06:07 AM

I got about 7 hours.

FireSignFemme 03-03-2017 08:08 AM

None. Now my sleep schedule is going to be all shot to hell and back - again. Fortunately I'm finally starting to feel tired so maybe I'll manage to get a few hours in before my son shows up.

Chad 03-03-2017 08:15 AM

Sleep

I got 6 hours of sleep but needed 8 hours.
Yay it is Friday!
