Well I've been smiling all day long, but just as I was typing my last post the phone rang and the voice of an angel in Virginia was on the other end. Won't be much longer and I'll be headed up that way and making us both smile.

All the wonderful sights, sounds and scents of the Christmas market and craft fair today. The reindeer were cute in their bright red halters, all snuggled and chilling in the straw. I expect they were saving themselves for Christmas Eve. :)

my butch bromance & I went out on a date for lunch...
Enjoyed a yummy lunch of BBQ Rib tips, fried okra, baked beans... Brought home a huge slice of chocolate pecan pie with a bacon crust....yummmy..can't wait to have that pie for two with Timmeeeehhhhh CIJS: There was quite an embarassing search....for an "item" lost that brought 6 wait staff, Timmeeehhh, and myself looking for...let's just say...a booth seat was removed, several cells were used to "illuminate" to try and find lost "item"..and all I wanted to do was to be swallowed up by the floor...:blush: but Timmeeehhh...my hero..saved the day...yay!!! |

took the bike out for a really nice ride. rode out in the country side, was nice, just soaked in the sun hitting my face and the wind blowing through my hair. I tried to smile while riding, but ya know...gotta watch out for them bugs...lol |
Being able to accomplish almost all of the items on my To-Do List and almost pain free. Must admit I am very tired tonight though. But blessed. Grocery bag of apples made into applesauce. Check. Froze 6 quarts of said applesauce. Check. Baked out the chocolate white chip cookies. Check. Baked out the peanut butter with peanut butter and chocolate chip cookies. Check. Mixed up and baked Snickerdoodle Cookies. Check. Made lunch for parents. Check. Did dishes. Check. Vacuumed the dining room floor. Check. Crash course perusal of Steam Cleaner book. Check. Steam clean entire dining room floor. Check. Clean the steam cleaner. Check. Throughout the day feed and take Ginger out to potty. Check. Find my recliner. Check. Soon to bed....Wowzah what a busy day! Thank God for cortisone shots!
