Got to work this morning to find a birthday card (containing a generous gift certificate to my favorite store in Concord) from my boss on my desk. She also brought me some beautiful roses from her garden and took me and our mutual friend out for a wonderful lunch.

~ Coming out to a couple of people as being trans, and knowing that I have their support ~ An interview first thing this morning that could turn into a job as long as My references are good ~ Another interview scheduled for Monday afternoon ~ Knowing that next week I may be able to apply at the Y to get help with a gym membership since I'm on disability ~ Tomorrow's doctor's appointment and the possibility of starting T |

My friend that owns the shop in Concord gave me some absolutely delicious incense and candle for my birthday...
Took myself out to dinner on the way home...went into the restaurant, sat down and ate dinner alone...and didn't feel wierd about it... |

A few things actually...
~I had a very in-depth, emotional counseling session with a client last night. She was able to finally sleep thru the night, and upon waking she came into my office to give me a hug and thank me for taking the time to actually "listen" to her. That's what makes my job worthwhile... ~My boss told me she is happy to come in to work when I'm there because she knows things will be under control, that she appreciates the person I am and the job I do, and that she is thankful I am part of her team. Awesome, cause she's an amazing lady... ~My parents were able to go to the Apple Festival today, after thinking they weren't going to be able to make it this year. ~Today's anticipation of tomorrow's excitement of all the weekend plans my darlin' and I have...Yay!!!! |

I stopped at a gas station on my way to the interview and this really cute butch was pumping gas...(another one in my neck of the woods!)....and he smiled at me and KEPT smiling at me as I walked in to get my things...
