Borrowed a box of broken dreams and picked through a few, but none fit the hole within my chest, so I tucked a few just out of view and to the hopeless, I gave the rest. My feet led me to where I'll sleep tonight, so arriving I sat and leaned against the wall, as the rain it fell like a symphony in an abandoned concert hall, The wind it seems to call your name or perhaps that's just what I would like to hear, and the shadows deceive, for I do believe, sometimes I can see you standing there.
