It's a beautiful day before our weekend storm. It is 7 degrees and will only get to about 13 today but the sun is shining and it's dry and we're so starved for that right now, I'm very grateful.
3 inches of snow during daylight Saturday and, depending on which report you look at, 5-8 inches overnight. Sunday will be another 3 inches or so. Monday will be our clean up day and then it's back to snow on Tuesday. This is how it's worked here since January and it's tiresome. There's barely time to clean up the roads before we get dumped on again. It's so much worse in areas like NY and PA and MA that are used to seeing more snow too. They are in the same predicament. We can't catch up! |
|
...
... ... minus something. uuggh. ... ... |
7* when I woke up, Ami was up much earlier. It is now a whole 12* and SUNNY!!!!!
Did all our running around while the streets are clear and now settled in for the rest of the 4 days she has off. I don't care if it snows, we don't have to go anywhere and the mailperson can just climb over the berms....:snowballfight::amsmiling: |
Going to be 86* today!
For all of you in the path of the blizzard due to hit, be safe! |
It's going to snow 5 out of the next 10 days. We're expecting about 2 feet of snow during that time.
I. Am. Soooo. Done. DONE! :cold: :vampire:  :badmood: |
Blizzard warning. Coastal flooding with erosion. If this keeps up, I should have ocean front property by April. :eatinghersheybar: |

It's snowing and I may not be leaving on an airplane after all.
|
Days like today have been far and few this winter,70* blue sky's with a trace of
clouds, good enough to get me out to go to the mardi gras parade this evening.I hear tomorrow will be 20* cooler then bad weather will be moving in for a few days with maybe a winter mix of nasty to go with it.It's not quite spring yet,but getting there. |
The blizzard warning until noon Sunday has been extended to 7am Monday. Given this is now a 3 week pattern, I really think the NWS could save a lot of time, money, and energy by saying the forecast for the foreseeable future is snow, high winds, and below zero wind chills. We will let you know if and when this changes. |
