This morning I had cinnamon rolls with butter cream icing.

When I'm running late, as I was this morning, breakfast is a :ratio Keto friendly yogurt in either vanilla or coconut and I toss in fresh blueberries, mixed nuts, coconut flakes and...recently....maca powder. A hardboiled egg and oj round the meal out. It's super filling and delicious.

I got off to a late start today, but I made a simple meal by using a keto-friendly spinach wrap and used a splash of smoked gouda spread, sliced organic red pepper, and tiny slices of organic zucchini. It was simply delish.

Had blood work done at the lab this morning and afterwards I picked up a delicious omelet from the local breakfast shop. It was stuffed with grilled onions, shredded potatoes, diced ham. Topped with a mild cheddar and sour cream. With a side of marble rye bread and homemade jam. It was perfect.

I turn 62 on my birthday soon, so I'm trying to eat only things that will put me in the best shape possible for my doctor's appt on my birthday. I've done well on losing weight and improving my muscle structure, so I tend to drink more water than eat. But when I eat, I stick to vegetarian sources of protein.
Today I had a quart of water before breakfast. For breakfast I had half a cup of Raspberries and Marion berries, and half a cup of steel cut oats. |

Technically, I suppose it was brunch but I had a Sweet Earth Vegan Big Sur Breakfast Burrito with some fire roasted salsa, a banana and some oj to drink. |
Breakfast this morning was tortilla chips and green olives.

My go to breakfast nowadays is oj, a hardboiled egg, a :ratio Keto-friendly yogurt (either vanilla or coconut...the other flavors are disgusting to me) and bits and pieces to add into the yogurt as I eat it, usually maca powder, coconut shreds, fresh blueberries and a blend of nuts (pecan, walnut, almond).

Up real early and had a blueberry muffin and coffee, then two hours later ham and swiss quiche and more coffee. First time for everything.

My friend showed up early so it was only some oj and a hardboiled egg but it lasted me until about 4 so that was good.

I had something a little different today. I had an Angus blend burger on an Artisano bun with pepperjack cheese, avocado oil mayo, mustard and pickle chips plus a few chunks of salted watermelon and a small glass sauce bowl of plain Greek yogurt with a teaspoon of unsweetened coconut flakes and giant fresh blackberries, oj and water. It was quite delicious.

I had a banana that I mashed with two heaping scoops of plain Greek yogurt and added some cinnamon and ginger. On the side, I had some mixed nuts, fresh blueberries, fresh blackberries and bacon jerky. Orange juice and water to drink.

I had potato chips, m and m's, and a cookie. Not a usual breakfast.

In a twist on yesterday's breakfast, I did the whole mashed banana, Greek yogurt, cinnamon, ginger and blackberry thing again, but in a smaller portion. I sprinkled just a little bit, maybe an ounce, of mixed nuts on the top. It wound up being like a parfait since I kept distinct layers of everything, which was fun. Food should be fun since we eat with our eyes first.

Breakfast was a peppered hard boiled egg and fresh fruit. I had a banana and then basically a fruit salad with pineapple, strawberries, kiwi, melon and both green and red grapes. Orange juice and water to drink.

Seldom do I eat breakfast. I usually have a nice brunch. When I get up I have a wild blueberry muffin and a coffee. If I am run out then I will have two blueberry toaster pops and coffee.

I just made a 4-egg omelet with heavy organic cream and tiny squares of German Cheddar Cheese and tiny broccoli flowerette's to share with my Beloved. We are also having a cup of home brewed coffee, the special Pumpkin coffee we bought at Trader Joe's. Yumm, Yumm!

A Wendy's cheeseburger and a Coke: I had to race out the door this morning to get the boy to his hair appointment on time. While he got his coiffure attended to at the fancy salon, I went through the plebian drive-thru.
Yesterday was mini cinnamon rolls and hot cocoa, sitting at my kitchen table and watching the birds out the window. It was much more relaxing than today. |

I guess it was technically a banana and water. That's what I had pre-workout. Post workout was more of a brunch with jasmine rice, Kevin's Paleo Thai-style coconut chicken, baby carrots with peppercorn ranch dip, a cosmic crisp apple and an oj juice blend to drink plus flavored water.
