Umm... since I get to choose... Drive! As long as I get to see the ocean for the first time on one side or the other...

Would you rather have an "Outspoken, complicated, and passionate partner" Or "Quiet, simple, and easy going partner"?

I think I'm kinda greedy. I want all those things in a partner! I also believe one person can have all of those qualities.

On any given night, would you rather watch the stars in the sky or, watch the stars on T.V.?

Aha! I agree. It's not greedy though... just realistic and honest.

Stars in the sky are better hands down. Nothing beats the smells and sounds from the night outside... a tv could never compete with that, no matter how realistic it may look!

When you hurt someone's feelings, how do you initially react once finding out you have hurt them?

Soft*Silver 03-22-2010 07:22 PM

I am crushed if I unintentionally hurt someone's feelings...if its not my intention to do so, I will try to ammend it however I need to

would you rather stay in bed on a rainy day or a winter day?

Both are cool, but I really like lying in bed on a rainy day, listening to the rain fall on the roof. Even better if there's someone there beside me. *smile*

Tell me about your first kiss with a woman. Details. How old were you? Was it different? Did it zing you?

Oh, so long ago! I was thirteen (and she was 27), divorced with two children.

I got to know her through my sister, who was babysitting for her.

It was WONDERFUL, so amazing that I've never since stopped [loving] KISSING a woman whom I care about! (And her and I stayed together until my first year of college - about five years total.)

If you could learn to play any musical instrument without effort, or travel to any place in the world - which would you choose and why?

If you could learn to play any musical instrument without effort, or travel to any place in the world - which would you choose and why?

I would like to be able to play the violin. I think the sound is beautiful especially when classic rock artists such as Eric Clapton play a concert with an Orchestra in the background.

I would like to travel to Italy for the food and architectural artwork.

Alaska for the wildlife and raw beauty.

And Hawaii for the beaches, clear ocean and seafood.

After all of this typing and thought:tiredcomputer: I now understand your question and
I would choose traveling.

Would you like to be able to draw or sing well? And why?

MrSunshine 03-24-2010 04:06 AM

Draw, which I do. It's a beautiful form of expression.

If you could go anywhere, where would it be?

I want to travel, travel, travel! Everywhere! But, if given only one choice, I would choose Egypt. (I have some "past" there...)

Your choice, what is either the FUNNIEST book you've ever read, OR... the most recent "smut" you've read? (And details, please and thank you.)

:bath:

*P.S. And it just COULD be that the funniest book was also the most recent smuttiest book... :bolt:(?)

Chuckling....I don't read books or smut either as a rule, not to say I wouldn't.

What is the most important thing in your bed side table?

Soft*Silver 03-24-2010 09:45 PM

it would be my book I am reading at night...

If you could only wear underwear that felt good to the touch or underwear that looked smashing on you, but never have both at the same time, what would you choose?

Soft*Silver 03-24-2010 10:40 PM

that would depend on my purpose of wearing that underwear. If its to be comfortable and sensual, I would go for the one that felt good to the touch.

If I wanted to entice visually, it would be the one that looked great on me

could you tolerate a scent you hate if the person you love loves it, or would it be a deal breaker if she/he wouldnt stop wearing it?

Had ta answer this one cause smell is a huge part of who I am. There is no scent that I hate. Everyone smells completely unique to me, even wearing the same cologne. I sometimes like the way a person's smell mixes with certain colognes better... but I wouldnt know unless the person already likes and wears it anyway.

What is the worst thing you've ever said to someone that didn't deserve it?

What is the worst thing you've ever said to someone that didn't deserve it?[/QUOTE]

"you deserve this" to myself back when I was drinking and was in an abusive relationship. I was SO wrong..and know it now.

what was the nicest thing you ever told someone who needed to hear it?

Butterbean 03-25-2010 08:16 AM

The doctors demanded my family tell my grandmother she was dying.
I was chosen to do this. Why, I have no idea since she truly despised me.
We surrounded her bed and at that very moment she opened her eyes.

She made a comment about dreaming. I said, using names, "Grandma, your mother and your father, and your sons, and your husband are here to take care of you now. You're going to be with them."

She looked at me for a moment. I continued, "It's a warm day outside. Spring is going to be here any time now."

"Oh Good," she replied and smiled. She closed her eyes and never said another word again. She died that evening as my cousin and I each held her hand.

I told my nephew's girlfriend that she was always welcome to my home. My home was her home, anytime. She would just have to live with the frogs, squirrels, turtles, 4 furkids, and who knows what other animals I will bring home this year.
