Yesterday it was 77* and today it's freezing cold out with a storm warning for freezing rain to come and possible snow flurries to boot. It quit raining about 1:00 p.m. today,it was already cold but the temp has drop'd a few degree's so now things look icy,wonderful just gotta love this mess.I keep trying to keep a good out look about the weather but today is making it hard.

Think the arctic air, intense whiteness and road salt is eating away at my brain. In case you were wondering....yes, it is snowing again. Temps are picking up tho .....it is a balmy 15 degrees. Kind of sad when 15 feels warm. If, as Gemme said, this winter pattern will continue for the next 3-4 years.....wait a minute.....you mean just in winter right? Meanwhile, here in Asheville, we got 2" of icy snow mix. Its just bad enough for me to have a "snow" day from work. More so because of the icy, winding roads. Higher elevations supposedly got 6". It won't keep. It never does. My inner New Englander misses the snow....just not in the amounts y'all are getting it in. Bless your hearts... PS my lil mama is thinking on wintering down here from now on. This from the woman who called me a wussy quiter when I left Massachusetts after LAST winter.....ha! |

It is 0* feels like -19* sunny and no snow, the actual low temp will be -13* not the feel like that will be lower. The lake is totally frozen over, which has happened 3 times in modern history. 30% chance of snow today but sat and sun in the 30's with, you guessed it ...snow.

We have had some light snow some blue sky for a little bit and it is cold but at least is not in the negative .. yet.. this is Upstate NY where if you don't like the weather.. just wait 10 minuets it will change :|
