Best thing about those 2 places was the fact i was with ms Cinn

Bacon, lettuce, tomato and avocado sammich? Those are delish!

Tonight it's looking like some kind of thin steak strips and some kind of veggie. I know it's a little vague but we'll figure it out when we get there.

Taco Lettuce Roll-Ups - I use lean ground beef and pork mixed together then I season and cook it just like I would for regular tacos...a little paprika, chili powder, garlic, red pepper etc. I make the rolls with butter lettuce, (bibb, Boston, it's all the same thing) then I toss on some broccoli sprouts, maybe some shredded carrots, whatever I have. Today it's broccoli sprouts, and homemade salsa with a side of avocado slices. Yup, it's a Paleo night! :)

It's too hot for a proper dinner at the moment so I'm just picking at bits in my fridge...wensleydale cheese with cranberries, smoked salmon, the odd prawn...yum! : )

We had turkey hotdogs and homemade macaroni salad, yum yum.

I think I'll use the leftover hotdogs to make spaghetti pie for breakfast tomorrow.

Spaghetti Pie

Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
  • two ounces of spaghetti, cooked al dente
  • two whole eggs
  • four egg whites
  • one quarter cup of shredded mozzarella
  • one quarter cup of grated parmesan cheese
  • two portions of soyrizo or sliced turkey hot dogs
Mix all ingredients except Parmesan cheese.
Pour into an 8 inch pan that's been sprayed with vegetable oil.
Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
Bake for about 30 minutes.

I made chili.
My friend gave me some zucchini and squash from her garden.
So I chopped them up and threw them in the chili.
It was tasty! :)
I also had a banana.

It's good to be cooking again:

Fresh butter beans, fresh (just picked) green beans, and a mesquite grilled chicken breast...all southern sans being fried.

Of course, watermelon later.

Dion's Subs-- the girl had turkey and cheddar and I had ham and cheddar. It was tasty.

Jesse 07-21-2013 11:32 AM

Tonight I am cooking my favorite liver dish, calf liver with onions, bacon and mushrooms. Love it!

Oh yeah, also some sliced organic tomatoes that a neighbor brought back from NY and shared with me, and organic broccoli spears.

deb_U_taunt 07-21-2013 11:39 AM
