Beginning to feel my posts are copies of Gemme's LOL. Is 15 now. Sunny. Some very fine snow falling off and on. Snow tonight 3-5 inches. |

Tuesday 12:00 PM Cloudy 41°F Precipitation: 13% Humidity: 37% Wind: 18 mph It's been colder than usual with flurries happening. |
|
It's 30*F and it's snowing outside on top of the slush that was made this morning with the rain and then the freezing sleet. It's at least 4 inches out there. I had to walk to the mail box in my snow boots to mail a couple letters out. Thank goodness I kept my snow boots from when I lived up north.
PS> These idiots down here don't know how to drive in this shit, so there's going to be a LOT of accidents I'm sure. HAHA I know how to drive in it, I learned in Indiana and Michigan during winter. PSS> Old man winter needs to go back into his freaking straight jacket. End of report from an hour outside Dallas. |
Snowing in Little Rock, snowing more in southern Arkansas, where the hell is spring?
|
Snow has stopped, rain has stopped, it's cloudy now, and the ice is melting.
It's a warmer 34 *F now. I"m happier it's melting. I shoveled the entire sidewalk and both my neighbor's walkways so it wouldn't have ice later on tonight should it freeze. |

Asheville is prrparing for a serious winter storm...
We are supposed to get anywhere between 4 and 9 inches of snow... Around here its a lot! |
Enough already!
So, the weather gods on the tele have crunched the numbers and apparently we've had more than 350 cms of snow fall up/over here since November... For my American friends, that's roughly 11 1/2 feet. And I'm pretty sure most of it is still on the ground! :twitch:
I've gotta say I'm pretty much done with winter at this point! It can stop snowing aaaannny minute now (please)! :seeingstars: This was filmed around my neck of the woods just a few days ago and pretty much expresses my thoughts on the matter (language NSFW): :cold: (more cowbell!) Meanwhile, on the other side of the country, the only thing weighing down Vancouver's trees are cherry blossoms! I officially hate them. :p |
Atlanta. 33. Sleet, but hopefully no snow. Just north of here they're set to get 5+ inches.
3 of my daffodils bloomed last week, but right now they're getting glazed with ice. |
fog on the water, a little too rainy to plant right now :tea:
|
We've had 98.9 inches of snow this year, soon to be over 100 inches with the next one tomorrow, Buffalo has us beat, but not by much. Very glad the lake is froze over. High 14* dewpoint -1* low -5*.
|
OMG, OMG, OMG!!!!
We only got a little under 2 inches. It's only the 2nd time this whole season that we didn't meet or exceed the maximum forecast for snow. Everything is great, except my plowers keep pushing snow into areas that are for my customers and I keep having to have them come and backhoe it out. We're going to stop paying for that service, given that we've told pretty much everyone in the company to STOP THAT. We have snow tomorrow....about an inch they say....but it's okay. Today was a high of 34 degrees with a ton 'o sun. It melted where and when it should and I've got a lot of bare naked pavement around here. Just the way I like it! Unfortunately, the temps dive tomorrow. Boo. |
It's snowing. It's blowing. It's cold. |
We sound like a broken record.....
|
Asheville ended up getting only about 3.5" of snow...
I cannot express or understand how disappointing it was not to get more... And...its already melting. Guess I'm guilty of missing snow... |
Albuquerque, NM
Thursday 1:00 PM Mostly Cloudy 43°F Precipitation: 0% Humidity: 43% Wind: 18 mph |
it's cold out, temps are going down again from the day, most of the snow from yesterday melted today.
Tonight temps will dive down, more snow tomorrow. Rain and freezing rain wintery mix for Saturday. Everything is soaked, the ground can't hold everything, it's like mudsludge. |

It did that Florida thing today. You know, raining while the sun's shining brightly? Yeah, except it was a sunny snow shower kind of afternoon.
Weird. Different. But weird. |

It's been a beautiful day. Sunshine and NO SNOW made me a very happy girl. It topped out around 24 today.
Tomorrow is also clear and sunny and should hit somewhere around 27 degrees. Sunday night....there's a potential for another 8 inches of snow. That's just snowtastic. |

|
It's cold and now raining, going to rain tomorrow as well.
|
It's raining. Still. Weeeeeeeeeeeeee:byebye:
|
It is 32 degrees, and rainy right now. Thankfully it isn't freezing rain yet, but is suppose to be until noon. Expecting 1/8 inch of ice.
|
It's still raining outside. I am not looking forward to the drive up the hill.
|
Given the prolonged crap, the weather service is resorting to creative ways of express the forecast. Todays winter storm warning has been transformed in to a snow event. If this catches on, I'm expecting a blizzard will be renamed a snow gala and a dusting will be known snow pot luck. Please reconfigure your wardrobe to match the occasion. |
It is, you guessed it, snowing. But it is much warmer, a whole 28*!!!!!! The parental carbon units came by to help fix the door that wouldn't shut.
