I'm excited!! Classes start tomorrow and I realized that my human nutrition class is an accelerated 8 week class instead of a standard 15 week class. I'm going to need a lot of coffee! ok ya'll im a baby when im sick! cant sleep anymore.. doc cant see me untill tomorrow. im sweating have the heat set at 80 because i feel like im freezing. cant eat.. but im drinking alot of water.. guess that good wheres doc sunny anyway? woke up my right leg,arm an my face felt numb. toung still feels numb but it think that is part of an old back injury. that put together with this other crap is impossiable! yea im winey. oh an plus its a holiday so i cant even deal with finanical stuff.. so im winey an board!

i know it's going around here as well.. and actually, where i work the norwalk virus is going around, so the nursing home has been closed since before christmas, its so hard to be rid of it.. take care of you - and hope you are feeling better soon.. |

we have to gown up, masks & gloves is all to prevent catching it as well as passing it around.. the nursing home has been closed since before xmas though so they couldnt have xmas dinner with their families which was sad.. and its been almost 4 weeks now and so they're stir crazy poor souls.. i feel for them and soo hate seeing them get so sickies.. we were supposed to open the nursing home finally today, and then we got 2 more confirmed norwalk viruses in another ward just yesterday, so it will probably remain closed for a bit longer.. bah :| |

Oh Cody, I really feel for you. I just got over that and it was miserable. The medicines mentioned were ones I took and helped. I'm glad you're going to see your doctor tomorrow who will probably put you on an antibiotic and codiene cough meds. Keep warm and try to sweat the fever out

i do work in a nursing home, though.. along with the nurse's.. i help feed the residents and do some recreation stuff with them, and help make the nurse's job a lil easier if possible.. i work mostly in the alzheimer unit right now, though i do work elsewhere when needed.. it's a pretty gratifying job for me, i started working in the kitchen there back in 2008, and applied for this position a lil over a year ago.. tis how i know i would love nursing, it would really suit me, so here's hoping i get in , heh.. we now have 5 confirmed cases, all in one unit, sigh.. seems like it's starting all over again.. hoping it stops with these 5! |
evenin' singles.. just got home from work a bit ago, its SOOO cold outside, my fingers were frozen even though i had mittens on and had my hands up in my sleeves, brrr .. took my shower, in my jammies,complete with some fuzzy socks and my snuggie, and relaxing now.. contemplating a hot cocoa. *waves to cuddly, Gail, Zimmy, blueeyes, cody & Handsome Devil* cody hope you are feeling better some.. Handsome Devil, hope you were able to get some sleep finally.. you all have me craving hot cocoa, talking about drinks.. ive never tried a mocha before, heck ive not even tried coffee or tea for that matter.. crazy i know lol. |
