Having one of those days where I feel in a funk. Can't really shake it so gonna take the night off and play around on a game or write for escapism.

Loved, accepted and understood.
Am at the airport heading back to my femme cave. It was a very good visit ... an emotional rollercoaster, but this visit has been good for me and my family. I still want to retire here or spend part of the year here. The music, food, and hanging out on the river front was a blast, but the connections I made with family and strangers, and the feeling of being home were the highlights of this trip. Lucky me. :bow: |

Tired...
Despite sleeping an amazing 7 or 8 hours a night (vs my typical 4 to 6) I still manage to feel tired every day...I'm not used to it and I don't love it. |
I'm exhausted. It took me over an hour to get up the energy to get into the shower and not be worried that I'd fall asleep under the warm and welcoming spray. Today was loooong.

While I still feel a little sick... I am feeling better today and I am all sorts of happy and giddy tonight!

Physically; pain level is about 7 which is a good number for this time of day.

I'm better this morning, although I was up far later than I should have been. If it's not one thing, it's another, right?

Sick
It's hitting me pretty hard. I've been around sick people the last couple of weeks. At work and home. :| But I'm pushing through and going to work anyway. |

I was cut off, so not my fault, but I rolled over this 62yo woman in a Toyota Camry, crushing her car and causing er to be in critical condition at the hospital, with at least one surgery. It might not have been my fault, but I still feel really bad. :( |

Well, I felt great because I got rid of my day long headache and I also just got off the phone with, arguably, the best customer service rep I've talked to on the phone if not ever, then at least in the past few years. She was appropriately concerned about my issue, dug into the problem, found a couple of different ways to compliment me as an 8+ year customer and helped me get the big picture of the problem and I've got a solution now. Great lady, that Jennifer. Plus, she said 'groovy' at least twice and is likely half my age.
:blink: Then.....I see sick and wounded people in here. Feel better soon and try not to feel badly, Parker! It's physics; every action has an equal and opposite reaction. She made a bad choice. I do hope she pulls through her surgery with flying colors though and that you get healed up real quick. (f) :rubberducky: |
I have a very strange urge to go downtown and have a beer...and listen to music....totally forgot tonight was drum circle too...I was busy with a project...sigh

I feel pretty good at the moment, just getting a bit nervous about my knee surgery that's coming up next Tuesday. I cant tell you how good it's going to feel to ditch the crutches and even though I will be using a walker for a while, be able to stand and walk. The last two years have been a trial to be sure.

Waking up to a heat rash on my ankles. I haven't had a heat rash in years! Will be using sensitive skin shower gel until it heals.

Feeling fantastic. Just put some citrus peels along with a little bit of cinnamon, clove, pumpkin pie spice, vanilla to simmer on the stove/give the apartment a bit of nice fall smell to go along with the morning chill in the air. Having fun messing around with new (well new to me) printer my oldest son picked up while out secondhand shopping, brought over and set up for me yesterday. Enjoying some good coffee made with a splash of espresso bar type sugar free hazelnut syrup in it. Just having an all around nice, pleasant morning.

AND I'm worried about how Clinton leaving the 911 ceremonies from being 'overheated' will play out in the polls. So, I'm conflicted. But good. Now I need to... |
Tired, knees hurt. But feeling blessed I was able to do some "cross country" (rough terrain) walking at the flea market today.

Tired, hips hurt from spending extended amounts of time in lotus; but mostly just dog tired. My eyes are sore from reading and I wish I had one of those herbal eye pillows that you can freeze or heat. Ahhhh...I'm going to need to get one of those! But I feel terrific otherwise. I'm looking forward to the upcoming week; specifically Monday, Tuesday, and Friday - Sunday.
Wednesday and Thursday can suck it, though. Well, actually there is at least one good thing happening every day this week, so I really cannot complain. :) And tonight will be an early night. |
