Daydreaming and reflecting on my day, it's been fun. Busy but fun. I am really comfortable tonight settling in. I am still floating high and I can't help but smile as I feel good energy surround me.

Warm sheets, marshmallow coconut cookies and browsing the flyers on my own time.

Psycho kitty volunteering for lap time tonight. It was sweet and charming of her. It's very sweet to watch her figure out that her people want her around. In the "I'd like to beat the snot out of everyone who had her before" kind of way.

Sharing storeis about the day, discussing a dream, thinking about cuddling and a friends art.

4 wheel drive made me very happy today

1) that I live in texas and not dealing with snow
2) the thought of eating breakfast tacos
3) i'm off today
4) wondering what she's going to say today

There's a 10 year old kitty who's been at the shelter that I volunteer at for over 100 days. He has some expensive health problems- hypothyroidism, and something with eyes- which is probably what kept him in the shelter longer than other the other cats. I just found out he got adopted, and went home yesterday. :)

The driver asked if I was originally from Maine. Really? :D

First thought: Why, do I sound like a Mainer these days? :rofl:

After telling him no, I got a history lesson the remainder of the ride about what Bangor looked like back in the day...60s and 70s.

Old Timers and live history lessons. Stuff ya just can't get out of the books. I learned Bangor was the largest logging city back in its prime and that the river (that is rather void of action these days) had 100s of boats docked most of the year.

The only way I take in history and actually retain it. :)

Now I want to research the city's layout back then. :D

Work calling to say the hwys are closed and my run was cancelled due to ice and snow. YEAH !!!! I went back to bed . So wonderful to get to sleep in like that!!!!!
