Last nights snow event dropped a few inches of frozen mush. The sun and 30 degree temps are melting it.......just in time for tomorrow nights snow event. |
cold temps next couple more days, rain rain rain, then sleet and more freezing rain to come Wed. night. I'm sick of it already. The ground outside can't absorb what's been spilled out on it already from the snow that melted and the rain that came after, now it's more rain then sleet on the way. Makes for mushy muddy soupy grass areas.

Currently, I hear the tink tink tink of freezing rain aka baby hail hitting the doors and windows. This is stage 2.
There's about 2 inches of snow on the ground and the plowers are out now. We've got more snow then more rain then more wintry mix and then straight showers through tomorrow. Oh my. |
All day rain freezing rain, high 41*!!!! Now 37* and the ice sicles have been making their exit known all day.

It won't drop below freezing until around 2am. The flooding has commenced. My customers are very unhappy now.
Snow will kick in around 4am and go straight through to about 1pm. There's a rumor that it's the last storm of the season. I won't believe it until I see it. |

It's ICED over with snow on top of the roads in Dallas and in my town just an hour East of Dallas. I"m glad I don't have to drive any where.
JEEP is getting a huge advertisement that's FREE because a group of JEEP owners are towing people that are stuck and a jack knifed 18 wheeler, for free. I want a JEEP Now. lol |

Yep, we got the ice and we got the snow that Dallas got lastnight and early this morning. About 2inches of snow on top of an inch of ice. Lovely to drive in ........peeps were on the freeways in Dallas getting stuck on the ice. It was a mess to see on the morning news. Buncha dumb folks trying to speed to get home lastnight and causing around 100 accidents between lastnight and this morning going to work. I just shake my damn head wondering how stupid can they get?
ICE IS ICE, there's no driving on it, unless you have some sorta studded tires which they don't sell here in TX. |

5 inches of snow/ice in Little Rock, and spectacular "thundersleet" last night. Today, bright sunshine but 30 degrees (if that), and a landscape that looks like The Day After Tomorrow.

It's 20 degrees now and will get down to about 5 tonight. We got somewhere between Eh and We've Seen Worse inches of snow today.
For those that don't speak NEnglander, that's between 8-10 inches. I am not a NEnglander, though I do live here, so my measurements come out to more along the lines of WTF and OMG. :blink: |

Sunny. Cold. Sipping coffee, looking at snow, thinking if I was Gulliver, I could pick up my car, shake the snow off it and clean out the driveway with one scoop of my paw.....and not miss a sip. Ok I think seasonal affective disorder has blossomed in post traumatic snow syndrome. |
24* sunny no wind, so ice is every where. Now begins the slipnslide to get to the car!! Oh Joy!
