|

Off to listen to some music on the water. This duo brings in the lesbian crowd, definitely good people watching. I'll have my eye on the football scene as well. I'm sure there will be sandy toes and some (lots) of steps involved!
Happy Sunday! Next week will be busy😮 |
I'm hoping the Craigslist gods are with me today as 3 people contacted me last night about things I thought would never sell. *crosses fingers*
Oh, and some housework too. |
First stop is Charlies for an omelet, I think. It's an old-school diner that's huge with many tables and they practice social distancing and use masks. I'll cruise by to see if they're open and if it looks empty. If not, I'll get a low-carb meal at Mickey D's and eat in the car.
Next stop is Kohls to return some of the pillows that aren't working. Then to Costco to return more pillows, get some Prosecco, see if the good Tequila has come in for the holidays. Then back home to see if the last set of pillows I ordered have arrived. Just call me the pillow chick. |
My main agenda today is to be comfy. The weather is appropriate for staying in and wearing comfy jammies. I, theoretically, don't have to leave the house. Many of my intended errands can be done via phone or net and the others can be put off until Saturday, when it's going to be sunshiney and bright. I don't feel poorly but I do feel a wee bit blah thanks to Mother Nature. I might not even put my face on today. The whole day! Maybe. We'll see.

And on the flip side boob smash is done and over. Wow, so different than any others before. I remember getting called, taken to a room, given a locker and a pretty fluffy robe to wear while you wait. Today, temp taken at the door. I guess that's pretty normal now, I just haven't been out into the medical world while pandemic is going on. I get to a room, with the smasher machine. Nurse/Technician tells me, strip off top and bra, did I need a gown? No. Just removed clothes, while she was in the room..no big deal for me. It was done and over in less than 10 min. |
Venturing outside

First thing was to drop off new patient forms off. Then I had a list of new places I wanted to visit. I mapped it all out.
When I got back into my car it went beep beep beep beep beep beep..like I didn't fasten my seat belt. Brake like was on. The day turned in to a new brake day. Lol. The dealership offered me a ride home so I could finish laundry. Gee, thank you pretty blue car!! Also, mopped floors..again..thank you. Lol |

Then home I'm working on making something like this: https://i.pinimg.com/564x/72/c8/fc/7...11e068cafe.jpg Tonight I pour the first layer of resin. I'm excited. The last couple days were cutting down and prepping wood to create several of these and building the molds that they go in to hold it all together while the resin hardens. |

A little online shopping, puttering around the house, maybe make something to take to dinner tomorrow. Generally what the kids make is more than enough and they're making the same amount this year even though there will be far fewer guests but I always like to take a little something just to show I care, be a thoughtful guest. Mainly I'll kill a lot of time on the computer. Listen to some Christmas tunes. Spend some time this evening cuddled up on the couch with Monte watching some of my favorite holiday movies/television programs. Other than that not much. It's just Monte and I hanging out at home today and looking forward to tomorrow.
