Yesterday what made me smile was holding a three month old baby and seeing that sweet little smile across his face... :)

It was yesterday, but I am still smiling this morning... I finally figured out Skype! ...with a little help from a friend... Why does that all of the sudden sound naughty? |

This morning my 4 month old puppy who is a lab-springer mix stood on the back of the couch and waited for my weimaraner who is 121lbs to walk by and when he did she jumped on his back and was biting his ears. It was so funny she is so brave..lol

A dear friend and fellow domestic relations paralegal sent this to me early this morning. Sadly the "client" depicted in the video isn't too far from some that I've actually encountered over the years and a couple I'm dealing with right now.

Both boys having identical honor roll level GPAs on their report cards. Finally getting the pool to look clean and blue again instead of icky and green...and knowing that the chemical levels are right. Woot! |

Seeing fields being plowed under after harvest. Seeing that "mystery fog" that only happens in the spring and fall. In the spring when the ground is colder than the air, when fresh plowed, the temperature worlds collide. In the fall, the ground is warmer than the air. There is a fog over the fields that can look kinda creepy at times.
Reading a few posts from people in the southern half of the country (and cali) thinking it's cold. When it's too cold to snow, then it's cold. (yes, it does happen) Some one calling me captain spamerica. She cracks me up! |

At Wal Mart today; while waiting for my daughter to finish her grocery shopping, I sat on a stool in Subway people watching. I saw three opposite-sex couples in their late 50s early 60s holding hands. It was nice to see it. We don't often see people doing this now. I wish it were more accepting for same-sex couples to do the same.
I also noticed how poorly dressed so many people were; dowdy for lack of a better word. The persons who were dressed the best were young African American women; classy and elegant. And this was right after church had let out too. I saw a boy about 8 yrs old proudly wearing a suit he looked so cute! |

Bob decided that this morning is just too cold. He is presently under the covers on his back. I can tell because of the lump in my bed. You can kind of make out his feet.

knowing that my days at the job i detest are numbered. just thinking about waking up and knowing i don't have to go there puts a smile on my face.
impending roadtrip and move make for more smiles. shooting with the ashman again real soon makes me very happy. knowing i have a new shooting buddy when i get moved, who will teach me new ways to see is very exciting as well. good times! |
