Geeking out with my son, who had never heard of Klingons, never heard of pon farr, never saw Kirk self-destruct the Enterprise (considered shocking-shocking in 1984), and never saw Christopher Plummer yelling Shakespeare while blasting Kirk and co. to kingdom come. I feel a bit sorry for him.

What made me smile tonight ... So thankful for technology and the ability to be in the same room with someone many many many states over. This technology called Skype has brought a smile to my face. Along with FB messenger and it's sweet reply. Along with my constant :heartbeat: here on BFP. |

My grand daughter... I told her I had to go to work and she got this really sad look on her face. I told her don't be sad Nana has to go to work so she can make money. She gets the silliest grin on her face and says "So you can by me the chocolate milk, right?"

It's sunny, warm and I feel at peace. My energy is vibrant and rippling today!!! I cannot stop smiling and thinking about my projects and doing what I want to be doing for ME.

I've decided to start painting again. I haven't picked up a brush in years, but I've had a few ideas swirling around in my head for a while now with no creative outlet to express them, so I made the decision to get my dusty easel out and get to work. :)

I went out this morning to take pictures and made friends with a donkey!(lol) Now I want a damn donkey.

I found out that I am getting tomorrow off AND St Patrick's Day so I can go to the parade with my family, per tradition :)
All this thanks to my client's former PCA who is still on payroll (apparently) and really appreciates the hours since she is between employment. It's a win win! :hangloose: |

What made me smile was to be able to finally be all caught on with my homework, and have all assignments turned in.. ON TIME for this week.
I was in a really bad slump for a couple of weeks and let it get the best of me.. but.. i persevered and worked hard to get where i am now. Starting Monday, i will have only 3 more weeks of this class.. and .i . will. pass. it. |
A good day at work , thinking about friends and for some reason being happy it's friday. Happy March!
