Grilled flatbread... grilled peppers, grilled meat....assorted veggie....

Jesse 09-17-2013 04:52 PM

Unbreaded salt-n-vinegar wings with bleu cheese-n-horseradish dressing, and a side of leftover raw zucchini, cucumber, carrots and mushroom slices. There is a mini New York style cheesecake waiting patiently in the fridge, for dessert later on. Can you tell I am having a free night?

Those salt-n-vinegar wings were so good though, I may not have any room for cheesecake.

:sunglass:

:bolt:

Jesse, how do you do the wings??

Tonight's dinner-- shepards pie (peas, beef, green beans, carrots, rosemary), topped off smashed sweet potatoes, and a small amount of sharp cheddar.

Dinner

Hi,

I had a big salad for dinner with Boston Butter lettuce, beets, onions, olives, peppers, and a balsamic vinaigrette. It was tasty.

You go to the hot deli at the grocery store and load up the container. Lol! Seriously! I wondered too about making my own, since they are Paleo.

The recipe I found said:

Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Place parchment paper down onto baking sheet and place wings/drums in single layer. Bake 50-60 minutes until crispy. In a separate bowl mix 4 TBSP of white vinegar and 2 tsp of sea salt together, this is for approx. 20 wings. Once wings/drums are crisp, toss in vinegar mixture. I will likely start with half the salt because I do not like to eat a lot of it.

I'll try them soon, because these were awesome! As in so awesome, they are good without the bleu cheese even.

So healthy and tasty too!

Lean turkey burgers, topped with fresh mozzarella, a slice of the most perfect green heirloom tomato and roasted red pepper. Served on toasted whole wheat rounds. Truly delicious!
