What is your complaint?

I don't like that place either but I am curious about your experience.

Happy birthday to your Kasey.

Gemme 11-13-2017 05:15 AM

We had pigs in blankets with teeny weenies and mac 'n cheese. I also had strawberry rhubarb pie.

C0LLETTE 11-13-2017 08:10 AM

Dunno. I'm having some dentistry done today. I may just end up drinking lukewarm soup through a straw.

Kätzchen 11-13-2017 11:22 AM

Oh Gosh, soooooo last night I tried to make meat balls put of the vegetarian non-metal mix and it was hard to get the meat mixture to form into balls, so instead I just baked the mixture as an meat loaf. It was very yummy!

I also made from scratch, an Apple Crisp.... an variation of the recipe, which included using dried cherries and the crisp was made from butter, brown sugar and oatmeal and cinnamon and allspice.

Supper was delicious! :hk28:

I have enough left over for a few other meals during the week, too!

C0LLETTE 11-13-2017 04:34 PM

i just had dental surgery...i'm having pizza run thru a blender.

Orema 11-13-2017 05:26 PM

I need dental surgery and am having mashed potatoes and soup.

Kätzchen 11-13-2017 06:58 PM

Leftovers (meatloaf and Apple Crisp), but what I really want is Gingerbread Cookies (warm.and freshly baked and iced too)

I will most likely bake some, first chance I get! :)

They are so cute!

Chad 11-13-2017 09:57 PM

Dinner

The question should be what didn't I eat!
Two appetizers including spinach dip and fried cheese, steak and pasta, and three desserts. I had a margarita with the appetizers, wine with dinner, and a cappuccino with dessert. Thank goodness there were five good people to share the food with.

So yummy and big fun!

Happy birthday to your Kasey.

They took us to a dirty table and cleaned it while we sat there, they got 3 of the 6 salads wrong, they got 3 of the entrees wrong including my Kasey’s steak. They took 25 minutes to replace her steak...but fortunately they took her steak off of the bill.

The place was filthy, the waitress inattentive and incompetent, and I wasn’t impressed with the quality of the beef. We were not asked if we wanted dessert, even though they knew it was a birthday party. The waitress walked over, said” here is the bill”, and came back 5 minutes later asking if we were ready to pay.

It might have been an off night, but with a bill of $150 we expect a little better experience than we received.

Thank you for the birthday wishes(f)

Wow! That is horrible I am so sorry.

Thank you Chad, you are very kind to be concerned.

We left there and went to Baker’s Square for some delicious pie, laughing over our newest restaurant horror story. Lol

We had never been to Texas Roadhouse, and originally wanted to go to Longhorn Steakhouse. Our daughter (bless her heart), thought TR would be more fun.:jester:

I have a friend who lives in Cedercreek (just outside of Bastrop), and we intend on staying on her property for a few days sometime in January.

When I firm up our plans I will check to see if you are available.

Thank you for the offer of your hospitality. :bunchflowers:

Dinner

No time to eat I was driving like a mad man to get home to my kitties. It ended up being a 5.5 hour drive in the dark. Ugh.

I might eat some cheese and crackers.

The kitties and I are happy to be together.

Dinner was oven baked chicken breasts and Thai style quinoa.

But the peppermint cream cheese swirl dark chocolate brownies were the best!

Gemme 11-15-2017 04:13 AM

We had junk: fries, burgers, nuggets and I had a green tea/fruit juice concoction that I am sure had a TON of sugar but was really good.

GeorgiaMa'am 11-15-2017 06:09 PM

- chili
- crackers
- a chocolate-dipped, peanut and salted caramel cookie (ok, I had 2)

Chad 11-15-2017 06:36 PM

I am having an egg salad sandwich. Peppermint ice tea to drink.

Mopsie 11-15-2017 06:48 PM

Chad 11-16-2017 07:52 PM

candy_coated_bitch 11-16-2017 08:57 PM

An almond butter and strawberry jam sandwich.

Bèsame* 11-16-2017 09:50 PM

I'm claiming date night...we left our phones at home!

Oh ...the sushi and sashimi did flow...I had a couple of those good Japanese beers.

Oh my lunch will be good tomorrow!
