Knowing that there are only 44 more days until I can snuggle with my Butch, my not-supportive supervisor got selected for jury duty and is out for the rest of the week, my a-hole lead is out on vacation, I gave myself permission to not work OT tomorrow, there are only 2.5 more days left before I leave on a much needed 2.5 day trip down the coast to Lincoln City & Seal Rock, which will include this view (maybe with sunshine, maybe not, but it is Oregon, so maybe it will be both):

Drinking out of a new tea mug. To be fair, it is the tea mug I got in a get well basket back in January. I just haven't used it much because things in the kitchen tend to get knocked over.

Come on now...you know what I'm going to say.... yep. you guessed it....(she). She makes me smile everyday. The above beloved snoopy illustration pretty much explains how she makes me feel inside and out - every day....(and) yes - even snoopy is a better dancer than me... but...he is after all snoopy - and he can do pretty much anything - right?! :) - me? I think I will probably have to take a class...:) ;) lol! |

Just thinking about a conversation I had with a friend ..... yeah, but it was more of a giggle than a smile. lol Our lives are similar, we enjoy a lot of the same things, we're there for each other. We worked on a major editing project together, have shared some of our deepest vulnerabilities, celebrated and consoled each other. We live hundreds of miles apart, have never met in person, have promised to visit each other. There is nothing better than a BFF - best femme friend!

My sweet niece calling because she had a bad dream about me. :) She just had to know I was ok. Haha. I love that ornery little girl. Even though she informed me she dreamt I was shot and killed in WWII. WHAT THE....... ? 1942? How old does she think I am ? Crap !:blink:

Smiling...first day of spring, first day my parents became one! 54 years of love. (Well hard love at times) I remember this day because of the story I used to tell..telling my mom, I remember the day you got married. She says no, you weren't there. Yes I was! She says no, you just have studied my wedding pictures to much! Ooooooh, that's right!
