Just took the dogs out back for their last pee call before bedtime.

Realized a couple of nights ago, in addition to a healthy coyote and venomous snake population, my woods have wolves also. I recently bought an Atomic Beam flashlight as an addition to my very bright headlamp that I always wear on our nightly long walks in the evenings. I am noticing we are being closely monitored after dark. One is fine, two equate okay but four+ makes me jumpy. All they do is stand perfectly still and stare. This weekend, I plan to go by myself after dark and fire a few rounds way over to the side of them because they are getting a little closer each time. I think that is all it will take.

Finishing the last of the french pressed coffee and watching CNN (Al Franken was just on with some reason in the midst of insanity).

Smiling from ear to ear because the last of my files have copied from the server to my back-up drives and I'm a day ahead of my schedule.

Drinking some tea, checking emails and then going to shower so I can start my day.

Contemplating and planning my weekend.

Sitting in the parking lot of the farmers market watching 2 crows fight over a bagel. About to pick up things for dinner so that we can good food, relax, and sigh a lot :)

Hey Buddy, you are as domesticated as I am and that is not so much. Heh Heh! I have had to learn things the hard way. Once in the 80s, I decided to surprise my lover and do her laundry for her. Those straps on her half of a slip things (camosels) became the tightest wad of knots. Who could know? Who could predict this type outcome? For sure not me. No joke, dynamite could not have separated that knot ball. And I shrunk all of a group of her shirts ... swear to god all went from petite adult size to kiddie size. I accomplished all this damage in ONE LOAD OF CLOTHES. I was purely horrified. Of course, I replaced all of them. Gosh, I felt so bad. :(

NOTE:
I am on a cell phone and cannot get the settings right so I do nothing fancy because it pisses me off so bad to lost a post. The thing I hate the most is about 3 years ago when I lost the ability to say a little something to someone in a rep note. To no avail, I tried so hard to get that function back on this phone. Finally gave up because I realized continuing to monkey with it would have had me doing one of these 3 things:

throwing the phone through the wall
or
calling suicide hotline
or
getting struck drunk

Laying in bed wide awake when I need a bit more sleep.

I will try this again. Since the last IOS update, I am constantly kicked out of my iPad in the middle of writing a post. Infuriating!

OK, speaking of butches and laundry, if I may:

I am also doing laundry right now. I have been awake since 3, unable to sleep so I thought I would get things done.

My long-term ex-butch wanted to be helpful while I was in nursing school one time. She put a load of my dark clothes in the wash (props for not including whites), washed them and put them in the dryer.

She was afraid that my favorite pair of slacks (that should have gone to the dry cleaner-not wash) would get too wrinkled so she took them out, pressed them wet and for some god-forsaken reason, that she could not logically explain, put them in the oven, very carefully, keeping the pleats in the legs.

She put the oven on low, thinking they would dry beautifully and promptly forgot them.

Hours later, I came home from school, walked in the house, smelled something awful while she was upstairs reading, and my synthetic pants had shrunken to toddler size and had melted into the oven racks.

Her heart was in the right place and she did clean the oven racks but I swear; even after cleaning, every time I turned that oven on, I smelled my pants.

Those pants fit like a glove, too.

Oh well, they were a size 7 junior petite, a size never to be seen again anyway.

Getting ready to watch my nephew's basketball game. GO BLACKHAWKS!

I've never put clothes In the oven but I hid some dishes in there once. I preceded to forget about said dishes and preheated the oven. Thank goodness they were on a baking sheet.

Right now I am LMAO @ Rock On and remembering when an ex, long ago was sick so I was doing laundry. I did ok EXCEPT I put her red dress pants in with about everything else and YES she made me wear my PINK (white) tshirts till she could get better and bleach them. OMG was it funny thinking back but not then for sure. LOL

Finished laying new flooring in mother in law and cleand up.It looks awesome, sent Pix to new tenant she wants to move in now lol Now i,m in recliner watching Seahawk Pre game show!

Taking a break from binge-watching Westworld.

I'm actually watching the Patriots game.

After watching the Rams play like crap all season, it's really enjoyable to watch a team that plays great football.
