What brought me joy today...
Being invited over for dinner last night at my boo's parent's house. Her mom surprised me with yummy cupcakes and a new pair of blinged out Yellowbox flip flops. She's soooo damn cute! Waking up to some beautiful weather! Blue skies, cooler temps & lower humidity always makes for a great day! Plans for Pixie to come spend the weekend with us and all the fun we are gonna have! Plans tomorrow night with friends for beer, pizza and game night! Waking up and being thankful each and everyday for the many blessings in my life! |
What brought me joy today?...
How grumpy hy is in the morning until that first cup of coffee. That scowl on hys face when hy kisses me goodmorning. How irritated hy gets when the above makes me giggle. |

Knowing that tomorrow starts a three day weekend! Starting it off is a date with my hot, sexy better half PinkieLee. A trip to see old friends Saturday where I'm sure bar hopping will be involved. Sunday will see a mimosa soaked Sunday brunch :) Then hopefully a relaxing day in the pool Monday.

Been finding a lot of feathers this week. On Tuesday I found what appeared to be Mockingbird and/or Dove tail or wing feathers and took those to my friend for her shop. (It's called "Little Feather.")
While walking to the bank at lunch today I found a large black feather on the sidewalk. If I had not looked down I would have stepped on it. Naturally I picked it up because I was going to take it to my friend. But she told me I needed to keep it because it is a crow feather and they are very special. Pretty cool. |
I think little pink piggies grew wings and Frosty the snowman is serving Rita's Shaved Ice in the Mojave Desert!!!
My sister has agreed to drive Momma all the way down here tomorrow!!! :thud: So I had to come up with something to make for her birthday....she can't have many kinds of cakes so I made a blueberry blackberry pie... and I can't wait for her to open her gift... locally made dark honey (something she rarely ever finds but always LOVES). I don't know who was more hyper and excited.... Me or Mom! Her one request... TO BE ABLE TO RELAX! I don't think that will be a problem... Not after all the work and planning we went through today to make sure she has a great weekend!! I owe somebody a HUGE Thank You!! ;) ;) Couldn't have pulled this off without you!! |

Studying for my microbiology exam that is due by Monday. Peanut M&M's...thank goodness Publix was open late... Hanging out with my mom today after my anatomy study group. Looking forward to having a three day weekend and relaxing. |

Taking a road trip with my girl and the furbabies to see my much beloved Mama. Then,on the trip a chance meeting with my two oldest dearest friends. Spending time with Mama,doing a bit of yard work for her,then going to my friends' home to introduce them to my girl. Having a FANTASTIC time visiting with them then coming home to a nice quiet dinner and studying. ANDDDD.....anticipation of a big day riding mountain bikes with friends tomorrow after a wonderful evening with my girl and the furbabies...If I could bottle and sell the simple joy that all this brings to my heart...I'd be as rich monetarily as I am every other aspect of my life! I had a great day today that started with working out with two great folks, working towards getting healthier, watching The Proposal again with Organic while eating brunch, cleaning up a little bit, going to get more memory for my computer and finding a new tie for Organic, having a nice dinner out with my honey, and now I'm playing online super fast and watching youtube clips with O. Good times.
