My very cranky sickly puppy came and cuddled with me. He hasn't wanted to be touched for about a week and this morning he came and snuggled with me. Made my heart very happy.

Spying on my little Smudgie when he was in doggie day care. I watched him for about 5 minutes before picking him up. He wouldn't leave the doggie attendants side, and was playing with another pekignese puppy! He even looked at me twice, but didn't "see" me. He was so precious! Glad he liked it, because he is going Monday and Wednesdays for the next few months :)

A joke....
A friend from high school told me this one just a few minutes ago, and I started laughing. I'd heard it before, and being from NC, I can vouch for how some stories get started on the porch swing over an iced tea or a beer.... but I couldn't NOT share it for those who know some Southerners and might not have had the chuckle.
What's the difference between a Northern fairy tale and a Southern fairy tale? A Northern fairy tale begins with: "Once upon a time,...." A Southern fairy tale begins with: "Hey! Y'all ain't gonna BELIEVE this shit! ...." |
