* If I think about chewing on newspaper, I will almost always start gagging.

* I LOVE leather-scented candles!

* I refuse to watch anything having to do with Russell Brand.

* I like to lick bouillon cubes (well, not as much anymore because of my bp)

* I gave a homeless woman the engagement ring an ex had given me.

1. i love thursdays. ever since i was a little girl.

2. i do not need rescuing.

3. ginger-anything makes me smile and feel warm inside. :)

4. i am terrified of drowning. so forget number two and PLEASE rescue me. ;)

5. most of the time i prefer my dog to people. <she's pretty awesome>

1. If you have a land-line with one of those coiled phone cords I see that the cord's twisted and knotted, I will fix it. Doesn't matter if you like it the other way. I will fix it.

2. I prefer evening/night to morning/afternoon.

3. I secretly want to get rid of all of my possessions and live and work in a cooperative, sustainable community.

4. I like finding change in my apartment building's washer or dryer because it feels like someone's paying me to do chores I had to do anyway.

5. One of my girls wrote to me this weekend when she got back from choir camp and said it was fun and she had a good time, but it just wasn't the same without me there. Awww! :)

1. The cake for my 13th birthday was left over from my grandmother's funeral/wake the day before. I thought it was morbid at the time, but I find it hilarious now.
2. If I am trying to put something together or take it apart, I must stick my tongue out. What? It helps!
3. If I am watching TV and one of those ASPCA or Humane Society ads comes on, I must turn the channel. Can. Not. Watch.
4. I wrote painfully bad, angsty poetry when I was a teenager and I still have some of it. But you have to sleep with me before I'll bust it out and let you laugh at it.
5. I can't roller skate.


Bonus: 5 things no one would know ... about my family.
1. My oldest sister was pregnant at the same time my mom was pregnant with me.
2. My maternal grandfather was a coal miner.
3. My dad worked as a milk man when he and my mom were first married. And he drove a horse and carriage on his route.
4. My mom's family did not have indoor plumbing until they moved from Iowa to Michigan when she was 15. The previous season's Sears & Roebuck catalog was their toilet paper.
5. My father's parent's were first cousins.

I will be a truly amazing mother, and will have fantastic, well-adjusted, happy, smart, thoughtful, funny, polite, inquisitive, charming, playful children.

I love chocolate, and I love fruit - but not in combination. And I really dislike sour fruit.

I have a fetish for beautiful and unique glasses. I also love blue glass, and have a small collection.

I love my life, but I really do miss being tucked in and held at night, and waking up feeling warm and protected. Haven't had that in years.

My hair is thick, again past my waist, but I have been too lazy and/or preoccupied to get it trimmed.

I am an idiot for staying up this late on a work night. ...Oh wait, this is supposed to be about what people *don't* already know about me. ;)

I have a lawn goose dressed up in a harley outfit

I had a pagan commitment ceremony with a butch...it was one of the prettiest and most sacred ceremonies I ever witnessed. It had a bad ending...but the intent at that time was real and it reflected in the ceremony

I am the youngest child in my family and yet my older sister insists she is younger...lol. Its a standing joke between us! Even our shared primary care physician has asked both of us seriously, who is really the youngest...lol

I dont really care to sound nice or sweet or fluffy anymore, tho i am still soft and warm and loving. I am done making small talk that pretty much doesnt matter in the events of real life. What I do care about is strength of my character and depth of my honest reflection about myself and others.

my grape pergola is full of grapes and I expect a heavy crop this year if I can catch them before the birds do...jams and jellies!

* I get a little giddy when I am running the dishwasher and washing machine at the same time.

* I used to HATE Rachael Ray but now I kinda love her and catch myself watching her food show when nothing else is on.

* I have an unnatural fear of finding a snake in my bathroom ever since that tree frog showed up.

* I got the giggles at a funeral one time, much to my own horror.

* I used to carry a dehydrated chicken foot around in my purse.

1. I still really, really want to live abroad. A dream since college.
2. Any dessert involving coconut makes me break my "no sugar" rule.
3. I freak out every day that I recently bought a house.
4. I love to swim, but hate swimming in a pool and don't care for swimming in the ocean. I really only like to swim in the Great Lakes. Good thing I live in Michigan.
5. I will only eat peas fresh shelled out of the garden. I can't stand them cooked. However, if served them, I will eat them because I am polite like that.

1. My 2 closest friends are str8 women.

2. I have friends in my life I have known since grade school.

3. My favorite movie is 'Where the Heart Is'.

4. I love my very small home.

5. I am a terrible romantic.

Some faults this time...
 

1. I hate to clean up after other people, with the exception of my children.

2. It takes me almost 2 hours to wake up in the mornings.

3. It takes an act of god to get me to fold laundry... this is what hangers are for.

4. My creative space always seems cluttered, but its organized chaos.

5. When I feel overwhelmed, I can filter out the whole world... not always a good thing.

1. I am stubborn.

2. I can be seriously anti-social.

3. I wear corporate attire, when I go into the office (suits, hose and heels).

4. I have tattoos.

5. My bestie is a republician, str8, redneck woman. We are so opposite from one another, but we agree to disagree (I have offered to teach her the hippy space dance, but she won't go there. I have gotten her to stop watching that damn faux news though).
