The older I get, I realize I dont have the patience for lies, intolerance and all around bullshit like I used to. And Ive realized that not everyone is going to like me, Im not going to like everyone, and that is OKAY.

i've learned
that life can change on a dime.
cognitive skills can evaporate overnight, literally that some days, it doesn't pay to open your mouth at all that i can rejoice in successes but don't party overly long over it - there's another one waiting just around the corner. |
There's no sidestepping the truth if you're to have a life of any kind. There's no ignoring the past especially when it destroys you from the inside out. There's no ignoring hell if you want to keep sane. How many times did I patch it over? This is my life in suspension and honesty, no matter how frightening or brutal, is paramount to survival. My heart stops and my insides are seized....at remembering.
